I've always hated eye liners as they are impossible to apply and impossible to remove, but I just love the way they look when applied properly. So my quest for the perfect product started. Now I'm not saying the quest is finished, this is no wonder product but I'm a lot closer to the mystery eyes I want. I bought this eye liner from Asda (how convenient!) and it cost £3.99 for 200mg (net weight). As advised by an article in a mag I throw my eye make up away after three months and this eye liner had some left in it, after daily use! There are a few colours out there but I don't really like any colour other than pure black; 01 Onyx. If you are going ... Read the complete review

I was on the look out for a new eyeliner a couple of weeks back,my usual brand suddenly started to make my eye's water(they probably changed the recipe!!) Well as most of us girls know its no easy task finding an eyeliner that suits your eyes, maybe you have sensitive eye's that water alot or maybe you like waterproof. Whatever the situation is you know its a tuff challenge to find one that you will stick with... Well after several failures I discovered Maybelline great wear waterproof eyeliner. I was really impressed with this product,it goes on really well and is not to hard as to scratch or irritate and not to soft so it smears ... Read the complete review

I was looking through Boots (I seem to start every review with this line!), searching for a reasonably-priced long-lasting eyeliner, and I spotted this eyeliner. It seemed PERFECT from the writing on the pencil. It promised to be waterproof, and I tested it on the back of my hand and rubbed vigorously. It didn't budge! I chose Cinnabar which is a dark brown, and handed over my £3.99, which is more than what I'd usually pay for an eyeliner - I usually use 17 Perfect Definition eyeliner which is £2.50, but nonetheless, it looked a lot more promising! It doesn't say that the pencil is like in a lipstick format - you have to twist the top of the pencil ... Read the complete review

As many of you girls probably know, when you apply your eyeliner in the morning by lunchtime it's smeared under your eyes and you end up looking like a panda bear (or is that just me??!). Well, Maybelline Great Wear Waterproof Eyeliner promises to be..well...waterproof, so you'd think it would stay put all day, like a waterproof mascara does. I put it to the test. I bought the brown/black, but there are several to choose from including black, brown and grey. It comes in a black pen type twist up applicator, which doesn't last nearly as long as a pencil eyeliner. The eyeliner feels very smooth to apply, and it doesn't seem to scratch ... I must admit that I am not a stick to one brand kind of girl when it comes to make-up. I like to have a collection of stuff for different uses and looks. I am often lured to out local discount cosmetics outlet stores and market stalls to see what's about. It was on one of these jaunts that I saw this waterproff eyeliner on offer for £1. I read the packaging and thought how good this would be for summer as I get watery eyes with hayfever and am always keen to avoid panda-eyes!!! After all for a quid it is hardly a big loss if it's rubbish!!! A few days later I tried the product and was impressed. For a pencil product it went on smoothly and ... Read the complete review
