I've always hated eye liners as they are impossible to apply and impossible to remove, but I just love the way they look when applied properly. So my quest for the perfect product started. Now I'm not saying the quest is finished, this is no wonder product but I'm a lot closer to the mystery eyes I want.

I bought this eye liner from Asda (how convenient!) and it cost £3.99 for 200mg (net weight). As advised by an article in a mag I throw my eye make up away after three months and this eye liner had some left in it, after daily use!

There are a few colours out there but I don't really like any colour other than pure black; 01 Onyx. If you are going to bother with eye liner you may as well go the whole hog. The lines it produces are great and you can really acheive the smoky look if you blend with a cotton bud, or leave it neat for a knock out look! Purr.....

The packaging is ok, a plastic 'pen' which you twist to reveal the liner. So you never have to run round finding a sharpener five minutes before you have to go out. The liner itself has a soft texture but looks like a normal pencil. You wouldn't be proud to pull this product out of your bag in the ladies in the same way you might if it was chanel, but at the same time the packaging is fine and quite attractive!

Application is easy and the pen doesn't drag your lids at all.

Removal however is not as easy, you have to use eye make up remover and give it a good wipe. At least it doesn't need reapplication. It will however go all over your face if you touch your eyes or cry. So I wouldn't say it is completly waterproof. It also goes all over the bed sheets if you fail to take it off. Not that I'd ever do that!

I have never had any problems with itchy or runny eyes when wearing this so I think it would be ok for sensitive skin, although there is no info at all on the pack other than an address and weight!

As far as eye liners go this is great and will do until i find 'the one'!

Now there's no stopping me looking gorgeous! Hmm!
