Advantages: Smooth, great coverage, soft, makes skin look amazing and lets skin breathe.

Disadvantages: Limited amount of shades, can be expensive (will go down in price after a while though)

So I've heard a lot about Mineral foundations before, in all the woman's magazines, and all of the reviews have been very good and positive, saying that Mineral Foundation is the best new foundation, it's really great for you skin and it gives really good coverage to your skin. Obviously I am wary about products I used on my face, because I have quite sensitive skin and I'm very prone spot outbreaks, especially on my chin and t-zone, but I've heard that the Mineral foundations let skin breathe more then other, thicker foundations. So I was in Boots, and thought I'd try these 'Miracle' Mineral foundations, so I brought and tried Maybelline Mineral Foundation.

The product is little Mineral grains of foundation, With an brush and a lid with holes in to only get a certain amount of foundation out, which is very good because often I get way to much foundation on my sponge or brush, which is so bad for my skin. Also the brush, which is quite large, which made it easier to apply the foundation, and get a almost perfect coverage on my face. Also I only used a little bit of the Mineral Foundation, and it was enough to cover all my blemishes and spots, so that means the foundation will last me longer, then other foundations, as I use less then I normally would.

Now the finally result..Well I was pleasantly surprised, the foundation looked really good, it looked natural, smooth and gave me a healthy glow, which was so good, because I have naturally pale skin, and can look sick and ill sometimes, but the foundation made me look healthy, but without over tanning my skin, so I look orange and stupid. Also unlike a lot of powder foundations I've used before, this Mineral Foundation wasn't chalky or grainy, which was a real advantage and made my skin feel so much better, felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my skin. The Mineral foundation also allows skin to breathe so much better then other liquid foundations and other powder foundations, so pores are open to breathe and don't get clogged up with foundation, and can cause spots, so this foundation would ideal in the summer, as the foundation allows your skin to sweat and cool down naturally.

Maybelline Mineral Foundation is available at Boots, Superdrug and other pharmacists and around 6-9 pounds, and there are a kind of limited amount of shades.
