Advantages: Lightweight, Natural Look

Disadvantages: Can Be A Bit Hard To Use

I've add problem skin since I was 13 (I am now 21) and have spent years covering (or attempting too) my temperamental skin with liquid foundations. This just seemed to aggrevate the situation making it so much worse.

When I seen mineral foundations advertised on television and heard all the hype about them I thought that I would give it a try.

I use a few maybelline products and trust the brand so I decided I would use theres. The main thing that I really like about this particular brand is that the 'mineral' foundation is not mainly made from talc (a lot of the others are) which can block the pores and lead to dreaded spots.

The foundation I bought cam with a little kabuki brush and instructions on how to apply the make up. The first time I tried it I looked at myself in the mirror and just threw the make up to the back of thee wardrobe. I looked terrible, it gave hardly any coverage. So back to liquid then.

A few months later I cam across an online forum raving about mineral foundation and advising to use youtube to download tutorial videos, so I did this.

After seeing how to apply the product properly and learning how to build up the coverage I gave it another go. This time I could definetely see the difference. My skin looked so smooth and natural. And no tide marks at all. My skin has improved no end since using this.

The main reason I love mineral foundation (with no talc!!!) is because it allows the skin the breath and will not block the pores. It also gives a natural, matte look. I really cannot fault this product.

I will say however it does take a bit of time to get used too. Because the make up is so light you will feel 'naked'. But its worth the transition faze.

It is also worth watching the tutorials on you tube and the like!

Summary: Worth Learning To Use
