It’s that time of year when you are looking to get all dressed up and getting ready for the christmas party. The shops are all full of sparkly outfits and strappy shoes. But don’t forget your nail polish. Maybelline express finish nail polish make nail polishes in all different colours and there will definitely be a colour to match whatever outfit you decide you want to wear.

They come in a little bottle with a gold coloured lid which holds the brush inside. The name of the colour is printed on the top ofThe front of the bottle tells you the name of the product, which is maybelline express finish. It claims to dry within a minute (perfect if you are running late).

I unscrewed the lid which holds the brush and pulled it from the bottle. As soon as I did this I could smell it. The smell of this nail polish is quite strong, but it didn’t put me off. The nail polish is quite runny so be careful not to tip the bottle up and spill it onto the furniture.

The little brush allows you to apply the polish to your nails. It is easy to put too much of the nail polish onto the brush, and if you do it all gathers at the sides of your nails making them look quite unattractive. I find that when I pull the brush from the bottle if I wipe it slightly on the edge of the bottle it can then be applied easily.

I painted all of my nails and then waited for them to dry. The bottle tells me that they will be dry in 60 seconds. After this time had passed I tested the dryness by gently touching my nail. It wasn’t completely dry because it was still a little bit tacky, but compared to other nail polishes it does dry a lot quicker. Maybe if I had blown onto them whilst waiting they would have been dry within a minute.

The colour of the nail polish is very good, and another layer of nail polish is not really required, but I like to add a second coat. This dried just as quickly as the first.

After a few days I noticed t
hat the nail polish had started to chip. So when using this product you will probably need to reapply it every 2 to 3 days to keep it looking perfect.

I would recommend Maybelline express finish nail polish to others. I have been using this brand for about 2 years and have build up quite a large collection of different colours.
