Finally....a good quality, liquid foundation that doesn't cost the earth for all us sensitive types out there! Up until trying this product, I had been using a much more expensive foundation as it had been the only product that didn't torment my sensitive skin and bring me out in dreaded spots following continued use. I have had my fair share of using non-sensitive products also, so I have a basis for a fair comparison.

Maybelline PLMF has a smooth, velvety texture when applying, although I did feel that I had to use a little more of the product per application compared to non-sensitive products in order to achieve the same coverage. I found it provided much better coverage when used a few minutes after using moisturiser. It doesn't leave a 'waxy' feel on your skin and the colour matched my skin tone well.

Not being one for regular make up touch ups throughout the day or night, I found this foundation to last well, even when put through its paces in a nightclub! That could be handy for any younger prospective buyers who struggle with other heavy duty products.

Personally, I feel a glass bottle was a bit of a design flaw; it's slightly impractical if you want to carry it around with you and it's impossible to squeeze the last few blobs out as you're coming to the end of the bottle (as we all do, admit it!) I know there are a few negatives in this review, but none of these can take away from the fact that this product is a blessing to those that suffer with problematic skin. I'd certainly recommend giving it a try.
