the best foundation for me (Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation)

Advantages: lasts all day and gives great coverage

I have spent so much time and money trying to find the perfect foundation for me and I think I have found it with this one.
It costs £9.99 for 30ml and you can get it from anywhere that sells maybelline products.
It has a pump top so its easy to get out of the container. There are two parts to this foundation one is the actual foundation itself and the other is a silky feel extender they both pump out at the same time. You just apply it to your skin I like to do so using my fingers but it also works well with a brush or a sponge. It is easy to apply as it blends very easily on your skin the silky extender makes it flow better over you skin and makes it easier to blend at your hair and neckline.
It comes in a quite a few colours but in smaller stores they are limited to about four or five shades.
It is quite a thick foundation and it does give quite a heavy coverage. It is really good for covering spots and if you have any redness in your cheeks you want to hide it gives a smooth and flawless finish. It is a matt foundation and with powder it doesn't go shiny.
It lasts all day and if you set it with a powder it doesn't rub off. It is great for wearing in the night aswell as it stays on even if it is really hot. It doesn't feel heavy on your skin and it doesn't go cakey and get horrible lines in it like some thicker foundations can.
One problem with it is because it is so thick it can clog your pores if you don't take it off at night so make sure to try to remember. When you do come to take it off you can do so very easily using ordinary make up remover or make up wipes.
This product does last a long time as you don't really need that much to get a good coverage from it.
This is well worth trying if you want quite a thick coverage but not really if you prefer sheer foundations.
