Maybelline super stay silky

For Christmas I got a boots voucher and as I had run out of foundation I decided I would try this out. It was a little more expensive than what I would usually buy at £9.99 for a 30ml bottle but I decided I would treat myself.

How it works

This foundation is a little different from other foundations as it has got a silky feel extender on one half of the bottle and the shade on the other side of the bottle. The silky feel extender is a moisturiser which makes the foundation feel silky and helps it spread round the skin easier. The foundation part comes in 10 different shades and the shade that I choose was nude which I thought was a good shade, but try all the shades out from the testers as they are slightly darker than what they look like in the tube. The two different parts of the foundation are mixed together when you pump it out and it feels lovely and smooth on your skin.

Conclusion

I was very happy that I choose this foundation because I loved the way that it felt on my skin and it was easily spread on my skin so it didn't leave any streaks. I found that the colour was perfect for me as it wasn't very orangey which a lot of foundations are. The bottle is easy to use and it's handy to have the 2 in 1 and it also has a spf12 which is great for your skin. The only negative thing I have to say about this foundation is that it has a 16 hour lasting finish which it didn't but it did stay on longer than other foundations I have tried.
