Running this mad house i live in is pretty much a full time job. When I'm going out, it's a case of getting my make-up on as quick as i can before little sticky fingers get into it. I bought Maybelline True Illusion Liqyid to Powder Make-up quite by accident. I'd always used Rimmel foundation followed by powder. When the liquid foundation ran out, my nearest chemist had none left. I was pointed in the direction of the Maybelline make-up stand, which had just recently been added to the shop. I have only recently bought Maybelline's true illusion liquid to powder foundation and haven't been using it very long. But already I love it and can't wait to stock up on it when I find it on sale! It glides smoothly on to my skin as liquid foundation does and covers all of my blemishes and marks. What's more, it drys like a powder leaving your skin colour all one tone. I know this is irrelivent but the sponge that comes with it is the softest sponge i own! I came across this product because I was looking for a foundation that didn't contain Sodium Chloride or Cetyl Alchohol, both of these irritate my acne prone skin, and I was really surprised at the results. I bought the True Nude shade which was a perfect match for my skin which is pale with yellow undertones. It goes on really easily and evenly, I don't have to rub at my jaw to remove the line anymore! Having sensitive but spotty skin, I find most foundations either dry my skin out and make it flaky, or give me a really shiny forehead and chin which promptly breaks out in zits.
