I have always been a huge fan of Maybelline products so I definitely buy the newest products out. This isn't the newest but it is a recent addition to Maybelline's wide collection and I love it. There was just the Watershine lip colour before which made your lips look so glossy like water but this one has a different touch to it, diamonds.

Diamonds are a girls best friend and they definitely are with this lipstick. There is a variety of shades to choose from any that suit your skin tone, I prefer the darker colours. After minutes that seemed like hours of testing out all of the different shades finally I chose hade 104 Sequin Ruby. This is a red colour with a mix of pink and a lot of sparkle.

I love the packaging of these lipsticks very simple, plain and elegant. A great size to carry about and very posh, a subtle pink colour, sort of a rose shade with the silver coating round the top and the lid is the same as the body. The lipstick is very easy to apple and has quite good staying power. Maybelline is not designer make up so don't expect to not have to reapply it again, it lasts for a couple of hours though but it's best to take it with you when you go out because you will need to touch it up.

The colour goes on smoothly and only one application then it will be enough. The lipstick should last for a while and when this particular Ruby shade is on it goes to a nice rich red colour and the sparkle is gorgeous, it shimmers in the light and looks fabulous. This is not too expensive and is great for the money, about £3 or £4 and can be bought int Superdrug and any other place that sells make up.

When closely looking at the packaging the pink body has glitter through it so that adds a nice touch to it. Definitely a great buy and worth everything. I am not a huge fan of Maybelline eyeshadows but they definitely beat any high street make up brand when it comes to lipstick.
