Firstly I just want to note that I have the Waterproof version of this mascara, which I don't think will make much difference to the product other than the fact that of course - it's waterproof! My reason for buying the waterproof version was because I initially bought this for going on holiday and whilst I'm not THAT high maintenance that I was planning to wear mascara in the day whilst dipping in and out of the pool etc I did think I would need a waterproof because Mexico in August is very humid, it's like stepping out into a sauna after you've applied your make up, so I needed something that wouldn't end up all over my face within five minutes of dancing in the ... INTRODUCTION I'm a big fan of Maybelline and in particular, their mascaras, as I think generally they are better quality than others out that which are the same price. This particular type of mascara (double ended) seems to have been a fad which has pretty much worn off now. A double ended mascara has a white base coat at one end of it which you apply first and then a black mascara which you apply over the top. PACKAGING As already stated, the mascara comes in two parts, on one half (step one) you have a white base coat which is used to lengthen the lashes, and on the other (step two) you have the black mascara. The packaging is quite ... Read the complete review

When this product first came out I was so excited! I begged my mum for some for Christmas and when I got it it was my favourite thing I got never mind anything else! It was the first of its kind and the advert on the TV was brilliant and promised amazingly long eye lashes! However... The packaging is well, shall we say boring? I have a beautiful make up bag crammed full of good stuff and this looks cheap and nasty. Sorry to be nit picking on the packaging but I like my stuff to look great and this is a little tacky! Black at one end and white at the other with two brushes. Its a fiddly thing to use and I'm a beauty ... Read the complete review

This is one of those mascara products with duo brushes and requires two steps. The packaging is compact for a duo type product. The white end screws off for the first step which is the lengthening formula. This brush is quite flexible and longer bristles. The other end of the mascara is the second step (black end) this is the thickening side of the product and builds volume. This wand is thicker and has lots of bristles to coat all of the lashes. Price is average which is fair as this is an average product. £7.99 in Boots and Superdrug. Better value I suppose if you get it on a special offer but still I'm not convinced Application ... Who will like this product: Girlies lookin for a mascara that will give your lashes an added wow factor. How much does this product cost: Not as expensive as you would think. I bought my version in Superdrug for £5.99 which is very reasonable for a Maybelline product. Product Description: This product is a double ended mascara, with 5ml of product at end end. At one end you have a white mascara which is infused with micro-fibres intended to add length to your eyelashes, at the other end you have a Coloured mascara (depending on what you choose, i like Extreme Black), which promises to add volume to your lashes.
