ok, this is the maybelline xxl volume length microfiber mascara, i know what your thinking, sounds impressive with a name like that its got to be good.
lets see:

buying:
i bought this mascara after the disaster of the shocking volume one from loreal which i hated! any way i got this one from my local chemist, the girl on the counter told me it was great and her eyes looked really good so i thought id give it a go.
It was a whopping £15.99 however they had a special offer on so it was half price when purchased with any order over £25, luckily it was my mothers birthday so i was already spending money on purfume or i wouldn't have bought it. i think £15.99 is a little too much for one mascara.

The product:
the bottle is quite wide with black and white writing, it looks like any other mascara but this one has two parts, at one end there is a white mascara for creating the extra legnth then there is the normal mascara for adding the intense black colour.

The application:
so as i say the mascara comes in two parts, first you apply the white coat which creates the illusion of your lashes being very long and sexy. You apply this just as you would any other mascara, ensuring you cover all the lashes evenly. when the white coat is done you should apply the black coat straight away, this should give you the sexy black lashes you want.


does it work?;
the simple answer is yes! ok it dosn't make you a size 10 with perfect hair, teeth ,eyes and skin like the girls on the advert, nor does it make your lashes 50% longer but there is a noticeable difference, maybe 20-30% longer, (really i kid you not), which is very impressive..

how long does it last?
the mascara stayed on all day without needing re application thats about a 7 hour work day, then before bed, it just wiped off with a baby wipe (ahh baby wipes is there nothing you cant do?)
it only took a few seconds and didn't smudge.

Where can you buy it?
most high street chemists like Boots or Superdrug or ebay sell them at a reasonable price they have come down from what i payed, but as ebay is acuction price they can vary depending on what other bidders are prepaired to pay.
