I don't wear face powder much and would not normally buy it as a rule. However, I got this free in a competition and have been rather impressed with it.

The Product
This face powder comes in a compact, as is quite typical of face powders in general. In the lid is a mirror, which is handy to see what you are doing. If I am going to use face powder, it will generally be to touch up my face while I'm out and about. This compact is small enough to just slip into your handbag and the fact that it has its own mirror means that you don't need to remember to slip a compact mirror in there too. If like me, you tend to fling stuff into your bag in a last-minute rush, there's a decent chance that you would forget this mirror anyway!

Application
The powder is easy to apply as there is a powder puff (best description that I can come up with!) within the compact. The powder isn't loose, so you just need to sweep the puff across the powder a few times to gather up enough of it, and then apply to your face. As it isn't loose, this isn't a messy process, which is great if you're using it on the go.

End Results
Although this is light and is probably intended more as a finishing touch, I often use this as my only make-up. If you don't suffer from tons of spots, you can get away with using this with a touch of concealer on top (and then "set" the concealer using the powder to make sure that it stays put). It gives a good consistency and covers up any redness or dark circles (to a point - it won't cover everything as it's not a foundation).

It can be a bit tricky to blend if you are using a fair bit of it, but it rarely takes me more than two to three minutes to cover up a multitude of sins.

The Price
At Superdrug, this costs £4.89. As I don't usually buy face powder, I'm not sure how this relates to the prices in general but I wouldn't mind paying this price for a replacement as it does a great job.
