Advantages: quite cheap, works reasonably well

Disadvantages: bit sticky,

I quite like wearing clear mascara, probably more so than your more convential black stuff. For a starter if you poke yourself in the eye you're less likely to have dark marks over your face which you can't completely get off.

I haven't spotted any other make up brands which do this range so I am stuck with Miss Sporty for the time being.

The actual packaging is pretty simple, coming in a little clear tube with a while lid. The disadvantage to this is that after a while the insides seem to change colour. Almost a pale brown colour.

Now you may be tricked into thinking that this is because I've been storing it incorrectly of something. However other people I know have had the same problem. So it isn't just me.

The brush is quite chunky so it does get a good amount of your lashes coated, giving the 'yes I am awake' look quite well. It may be a bit more helpful if you have one of those eyelash comb things. (I have absoloutly no idea how else to describe them!) After putting on the mascara the comb helps to separate them a bit more.

It does have quite a sticky texture, meaning that when you do put it on you can feel your lashes almost being put in place. It can also make they lift a bit more.

Appareantly it's quite good an eyebrow controller although I don't completely agree. Because of its consistency when you're putting it that close to your skin it just makes you want to rub it off again.

This cost me £1.97 from Superdrug and you do get what you pay for. It does what its made to do and nothing more. It's a simple buy and if you're running low on funds I think this is perfectly acceptable equivalant to higher priced buys.

Will give this a try, Collection 2000 used to do a clear one...not sure sure if they still do?
