Advantages: cheap, a little goes a long way

Disadvantages: can suffocate skin, needs to be applied with considerable care

The Light Energy Foundation is my personal foundation of choice, as it is cheap, long lasting and good quality. In the past I have admittedly had bad luck with the Miss Sporty range, especially with their poor quality lipsticks, but I put this down to 'you pay for what you get' and moved on. However, needing a cheap foundation/cover up, I returned to the range and purchased the Light Energy Foundation on a whim.

The foundation comes in a variety of tones for light and dark skin; however it was difficult to tell from the sample sticker which tone would be the best for me. In the end, I had to use the in store testers to see what colour the foundations actually came out as, as the tube itself is fully opaque and so it is impossible to tell the resulting colour from the packaging. This may put off a first time buyer, but a repeat customer would probably be confident with which tone to buy. The packaging itself is a smallish tube in a fleshy peach tone, with hot pink text and decoration, implying youth and femininity. The text is bold and rounded, so is simple to read and understand.

The product itself is of a thick, creamy consistency with no real smell and is a nice colour. When applied to the face, considerable attention should be paid to blending otherwise an unpleasant smeary effect is left. Otherwise, it leaves a pleasing smooth effect on the skin and is excellent for covering blemishes and marks.
I personally usually use the foundation as a general cover up for spots and blotches, but it is also worth using as a foundation. I would not recommend leaving this product on for too long (i.e. more than 10-12 hours) as it can leave the skin feeling a little smothered and suffocated. Also the product may not be suitable to those who are prone of bad acne, as it can make the condition worse
.
All in all, the Light Energy Foundation is a cheap and convenient product for those on a budget, but I would recommend a higher quality product for those with more money to spend.

Summary: good for those with not much money to spend on cosmetics, but otherwise take care with skin routine
