Lovely Long Lashes... (Miss Sporty Mascara)

Advantages: Longer Looking lashes at an affordable price., Lasts all day.

A few weeks ago, I was talking to my friend and she told me she'd bought a whole new set of make up for under £10 from the 'Miss Sporty' range. She said I should give it a go too. I could hardly say no could I?

Miss Sporty is a range of make up, only available from Superdrugs and independant chemists. Most of the make up products available are priced at under £2. In the range are a variety of products, including lipgloss, eyegloss, nailvarnish, all available in a range of colours. There's also 3 different types of mascara, these being Waterproof, Lengthening and Volumising mascaras.

The one I chose to try was 'XX Long' and it promises greater, longer looking lashes in just one coat. It says the mascara will:
'Perfectly define and seperate every lash to bring them to their full potential'.
It sounds good doesn't it?


*Packaging*


The mascara is packaged in a long, thin tube, which is royal blue in colour. The Miss Sporty logo and description of the product are written upon the tube in white. If you want to know the ingredients, they are written on a sticker, which is placed on the lid of the mascara.


*The Mascara*


When I unscrewed the lid, I saw there were no clumps of mascara on the brush, which was quite long. I bought this mascara in black, navy blue and cocoa, which, if you hadn't already guessed, is brown in colour

When I applied the mascara, I found I only needed to use a few strokes of the brush to create an even look over my lashes, because the brush is quite long, making it quick and simple to apply. As soon as the mascara was applied to my lashes, they immediatly began to look longer. As the tube said, I only needed one coat to create a lengthened look on my lashes. The end result was long, seperated lashes, evenly covered with mascara, and definately more defined.

ing lashes, but it also lasts all day too, without smudging or flaking as some other mascaras do after a few hours of wear. Another important factor in a mascara is whether it's waterproof or not, and this one is, but I wouldn't suggest doing out in pouring rain with it on or swimming or anything where it'll get really wet,because it might start to run a little then.

When it comes to removing this mascara, I find it easy to remove with my normal eye make up remover.


*Overall*


Miss Sporty XX Long Mascara can only be purchased from Superdrugs and some chemists, so don't go looking for it in Boots Right, so, for such an effective mascara, you'd think that it'd be pretty expensive, wouldn't you? Well, it's not, it only costs £1.99, which is a really good price for what you get, I think.

So, I would definately reccommend this mascara to you. It lengthens lashes, lasts all day, without smudging or flaking, all for £1.99.

What more could you ask for?
