~*~*~ MUA Extreme Felt Eyeliner ~*~*~
~ What is it? ~
This is a felt eyeliner from MUA (Make Up Academy) it is very much like a felt pen but is safe to use on the face.
~ Why did I buy it? ~
I bought this by total mistake! I meant to grab a 3 in 1 Extreme Contour Pen in Gunmetal and didn't even realise my mistake until I got home! However I am really pleased with my mistake as this is something I use on a daily basis now!
~ Extreme Felt Eyeliner ~
This looks very much like a felt tip pen. You simply get a round tube that is fatter than usual eyeliners. The whole tube is made from a strong black plastic and it has a removable lid. On the tube you will find all the relevant information, such as brand and product name - EXTREME felt eyeliner MUA. We are told it has a 6 month shelf life when opened and that the tube holds 1.2ml of liquid. All the printing on the bottle is in a chrome colour which stands out really well against the black tube.
~ Price & Availability ~
This eyeliner is available from Superdrug stores or online at -

It is only available in one colour - Black and costs £2.00.
~ Using the eyeliner ~
In the past I have never really got on with liquid eyeliner so I thought this would be the same. I wasn't very happy with my mistake but I decided to try it out anyway.
Before using the eyeliner you have to peel off a shrink wrap outer wrapper, this is made easy by a perforated section running down one side of the wrapper.
You then have to remove the lid of course! You will see a fine felt tip with a thin pointed end and this is where I thought it would all go wrong for me. I always line my upper lid with a line of black eyeliner so I gave this a try. At first nothing seemed to be happening and the tip felt quite dry, so I ran it along the back of my hand in one quick swoop and it started working, so I moved back to my eye.
I rested my elbow on the worktop and steadied my one hand by leaning on the little finger of my other hand and proceeded to draw a fine line across the upper lid on the upper lash line. I found it actually glided on really well and gave a really good finish. The colour is a deep dark black which is what I was hoping for.
I then moved onto my other eye where the results were just as good.
I was now converted to felt eyeliners!
I have messed around with the eyeliner and have got really good effects from it which I am really pleased about. It's also easy to add to flicks to the corner of the eyes too and it is very easy and simple to use.
I have also found that it lasts really well. I apply it in the morning and it is still firmly in place when I come to remove it in the evening.
~ Overall ~
I am very impressed and pleased with this eyeliner. I am glad I made the mistake of buying this instead of the other eyeliner, I have found that this works very well for me as once it's on it stays on but it is still easy to remove when you want to.
The price is amazing, just £2.00 which is fantastic for such a brilliant product.
I will be buying this again in the future as I am very impressed.
It is easy to apply a thin line for daytime wear or build the line up for a more dramatic look.
Fabulous!
Thanks for reading :o) x
Summary: A brilliant eyeliner that has really surprised me.
