I recently reviewed some nail polish by the MUA brand and only gave it 3 stars as I was disappointed with it, but I can happily say I was pleasantly surprised with this eye shadow.

Over at Superdrug there is a MUA stand which is short for make up academy and is specifically by Superdrug so you will only find it in store or on their website.

I noticed that their eye shadows were sold individually and for £1 which was a bargain price that I decided to purchase a few to try. I have to say I did not think they would be very good but for the price I thought it was worth purchasing to add to my collection.

The eyeshadow comes packaged in a little pot which has a clear lid so you can see the colour of the eye shadow at first glance. The pot is 2g and is sealed with a little sticker so you can tell it has not been opened.
The back of the pot is black and does not hold much information on it.

The eyeshadow itself is easy to apply, they come in a range of colours and you do not need to use too much to get the colour onto the eye shadow applicator. When applying the eye shadow I was surprised at the quality of it as I felt it sat nicely on my eyes and was smooth - I also liked how it was not too loose and so had no problems in applying or sitting the eyeshadow on my eye.

For £1, I give the eye shadow 5 stars as it is good quality for the price and is nice to use.
The only possible flaws I can state for the eye shadow is that it does not come with a brush as they are all sold individually, also I would be careful in carrying the eyeshadow in your bag as the lid is quite thin clear plastic at the top so if it gets bashed in between other things I think it could easily break, even though the pot may not open.

The eyeshadow does come in some nice colours and I would repurchase from the brand but it would not replace some of my other eyeshadows as they come in a bigger range of colours.
