MUA Face Primer
Advantages: Cheap and it does the job - for a while at least
Disadvantages: Starts to flake after a few hours
The primer comes presented in a black tube with MUA written across it.
The size of the primer is 27ml, which is about average as most primers are around the 30ml mark.
The primer goes on well. It has a rich and creamy formula that just glides over the skin needing little effort from you. I apply this primer before applying my make-up. You can apply the primer to normal dry skin but I prefer to apply it over lightly moisturised skin as I find that it soaks in better what way. You wouldn't think so but it does. It also makes the product last longer as you don't need as much of it when you apply it over the top of moisturiser.
The primer doesn't smell unpleasant. It is pleasant to use and it lasts ages as a little goes a long way. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't contain an SPF factor, however if you use SPF foundation over the top of it that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
The primer helps my make-up stay on but after a few hours it starts to flake a little around the edges. I find myself having to brush the flakes off as they look a little untidy sat there on my skin. Also, the primer tends to come off when your face sweats. I therefore think it's better to pay more for a better quality primer in my opinion. It does the job for a few hours though and it doesn't leave your skin feeling tacky like some primers do. I suppose it's worth a try.
Summary: Worth trying
