Now that I have had my acrylic nails taken off, I am always on the look out for fabulous nail polishes. When randomly browsing in Superdrug one day, I came across Nail Pop, a brand I had never heard of before. I instantly saw a colour I wanted and headed to the till to pay, I didn't even care that the one bottle was going to cost me £5.

Nail Pop comes in 30 different shades and claims to give hard wearing, colour perfect nails. The shades are very bright and bang on trend at the minute. There is a range of basic colours along with some fabulous glitter nail polishes. The nail polish comes in a small, glass bottle which is square in shape. The bottle is see through so that you can see the colour that you are about to purchase. The lid of the bottle is round and a light gold colour. It unscrews very easily but tightens well at the same time. The bottle is slightly nicer than that of other brands mainly because it looks that little bit more expensive.

So, I decided to buy the colour which is called Bling. This isn't a block colour though and instead it is all glitter. The glitter is a very girly light pink but it looked amazing in the bottle. The polish inside the bottle looked very thick with glitter so I was hopeful about how it would look on my nails. Some glitter nail polishes can be extremely thin and look nothing like they do in the bottle once it is on your nails.

I decided to use this on my toe nails before letting loose on my finger nails just in case I didn't like it. Once I unscrewed the bottle and lifted out the brush, I was disappointed. The polish is actually quite runny and not as thick as it looked in the bottle. However, I was still determined to give it a go. After only two coats, my toe nails were exceptionally glittery and the pink colour was fabulous. Applying the polish was as easy as any other and two coats really did the trick. After seeing the consistency of the polish, I had my doubts but these were uncalled for.

While I do love this nail polish, I'm not sure that it was worth £5. At the minute, http://www.lookbeauty.co.uk/index.php/nail-pop-137 have these on offer for 2 for £6 which is a much better price than what I paid.

Summary: A good nail polish
