Im a slave to fashion and beauty always spending time on my appearance and taking any oppurtunity to pamper myself. This included fortnightly trips to my local nail salon having acrylic french nails tips attached at £30+ a pop. Eventually this spending on my nails was proving too pricey and maiking a huge dent in my bank account. But a girl needs to look good and so i sought an alternative. My local Boots store led me to Nailene which was one of the cheaper brands of glue on false nails. The reason for this is generally because I have to keep my nails very short, as I work with members of the public as a nurse and try to avoid catching delicate skin by keeping them as short as possible. I have tended in the past to use press on nails as I have always had a phobia about damaging my own nails and due to the fact that extensions can only be worn for a day or two as they are an absolute no no in my ward for health and safety and infection control purposes. I trying to cut cost bought a pack of do it your self nails. What was I thinking. Besides not being able to type now and having glue all over my fingers from trying to keep the nails in place they really dont look like what they do after going to the saloon to have them done. My pack came with 24 nails half of which were to big for my little fingers. I mean dang are women that use these nails giants or what. I could have cut the largest nail in 5ths and used it for all the nails on my hand. Once I got 10 nails picked out of the pack that would fit my fingers I put them out to make applying them easier. I used the nailene glue to apply them and ... Read the complete review

I play a lot of sport including a team sport where I am not allowed to have long nails for safety reasons. There for if I want long nails for any occasion or when I have a lull in training I use false nails. I recently had a lull in training and decided I wanted some false nails. I went to Boots and looked at the false nails. I noticed Nailene Real French because the nails where not too long and the package came with 24 nails in a variety of sizes so that they would fit most hands. As I have large hands this was important to me. Kit === The nail kit contained- 24 varying sized nails nail glue wooden curticle stick a ... Read the complete review
