Nails Inc nail polish
Colour- Elizabeth Street
I first tried Nails Inc nail polish at one of their nail bars when I was stuck waiting on a friend that was running very late, so I decided to treat myself to a little pampering and have a professional add some life to my rather dull nails. Ever since then I have been a huge fan and I do own quite a few different shades of Nails Inc nail polish. I find the nail polish to be long wearing, chip resistant and with a good top coat the colour can last for ages before you need to take it off and reapply it. Also I love that Nails Inc have a huge selection of colours available.
Although I own quite a few different shades of Nails Inc nail polish my all time absolute favourite has to be the Elizabeth Street shade. It is a lovely very light, ever so slightly pearl pink colour. It's what I would describe as an all round basic neutral shade with just enough of a hint of colour to make your nails look that bit extra special. It goes on quite subtlety and so matches more or less all the day time and night time outfits that I own. The colour is really one of the most versatile that I use and I wear it all the time, and all throughout the year. It is one colour that I will no doubt be buying again when the last little bit of my bottle runs out.
As with nearly all the nail polishes I have tried the nail brush is attached to the lid, the brush is pretty basic. But then what more would you want? The nail polish is very easy to apply and with the Elizabeth Street shade you don't really require a base coat because the colour is so light it has never stained my nails. However, I would recommend using a good quality top coat because that can and will make a huge difference. In my experience if I am in a rush and just apply a couple of coats of the polish it will last a few days looking perfect (depending on of course what you are doing with your hands) but that time of looking perfect can almost be doubled with a good top coat that can stop as many chips and cracks from appearing.
Now for the downside, it is expensive. There is no getting around the fact that Nails Inc nail polishes are expensive and usually retail for around £11 for a typical sized bottle. Yes, I think that the nail polish is probably over priced but the quality and choice of colours keeps me going back to Nails Inc. I also love the gift packs they do and I have often added a few Nails Inc polishes into gift baskets because they are a luxury item that does last and comes in so many nice shades that there will be something to suit everyone.
Recommended?
Yes, absolutely. Nails Inc nail polish does deliver quality even though they may be a tad over priced and although I like all the colours I own I don't love them all. However, the Elizabeth Street shade is one that I do love and I wear over and over again. It's just an all round great basic colour that goes on well, stays and looks great for most occasions, especially if you want something pretty and elegant but more on the subtle side.
Even with the rather expensive price tag I do think that Nails Inc and in particular the Elizabeth street shade deserves a full five out of five stars.
Summary: Five out of five stars
