I own two bottles of nails inc harley street base coat at the moment. One is the round old style and one is the new square style bottle. Inside I believe the product is identical.
What's the point?
This is a base coat that fills ridges and helps mask any peeling or uneven nail surface. You could buff the nail to get it even but over buffing will weaken so this really comes in when my nails are suffering like they are right now.
How I use mine
I use the nourishing nail kale base coat ( a thin layer) which is green in colour but looks clear on the nail. I then add the harley street when I think my nails need it to help prep the nail and provide an even base before I put my colour on. I treat this a bit like a primer.
This is totally clear and quite runny so you really don't need a lot but it doesn't seem to clog up the nail and it definitely improves the finished look.
You could even wear harley street on your nails on its own. It would probably appear a little bit glossy on the nail but it would befine.
A bottle of this would cost around £14 from a Nails Inc counter.
You can get this product in a set from Nails Inc which brings down the price. I don't use mine all the time but when I do use it I am reminded how good it is.
