I really like the Nails Inc range of nail varnishes and recently stocked up on some new shades for summer. At the same time I also picked up one of these nail buffers as I like to look after my nails and always feel bit better when my hands are presentable. QUite often I don't wear wear nail varnish and keep my nails bare and I find a nail buffer is the best way to look after plain nails and make them look great. I find also though that when I do apply nail varnish it goes on much better and stays on for longer when my nails have been buffed and taken care of and the best way to do this is with one of these nail buffers.
A nail buffer looks much like a nail file but its really a completely different tool and made of quite a different material too. While a nail file is rough and intended to file down your nail this nail buff is intended to makes your nails shine as well as eliminate ridges, prevent staining and promote healthy nail growth. A nail buff is made of quite a smooth rubberish material and what you do is just basically rub it over your nails. You need to apply quite hard pressure but its very easy to use. You can really see the ridges of your nails smoothing out and its amazing to see the shine that you get once you have rubbed this over your nails by comparing it to the ones you haven't done yet. I find its often possible to wear your nails bare like this and you don't even need a clear nail polish to get a nice shine to your nails.
This Nails Inc on I think is quite nicely designed and it makes it a bit easier to use than others I have tried. It is quite thin so it's easy to grab hold of and use on your nails, especially with your left hand if you are right handed. It is also in the shape of a rectangle and has squared edges not curved ones so you can use the point of the edge to really get right to the edges of your nails and get all of them buffed. Its quite pretty looking too, its white with grey swirls on it and the Nails Inc logo written on it. This is the first time in probably a couple of years that I have replaced my old nail buff as I find they really do last a long time. It costs £6 and in my opinion is a nice nail tool.
