Advantages: Great range of colours, long lasting

Disadvantages: Not cheap

Nails Inc must have the most extensive range of nail varnishes I've ever come across - from pale pinks to bright neons there must be a colour here to suit everyone!

Each nail varnish comes in a cute looking glass bottle with a silver lid and usual brush inside. Fairly unremarkable packaging but they do look cute with the Nails Inc feet logo on the side! The brush itself is generous in size and means that it's very easy to apply, covering each nail in about 2 strokes, and the varnish is nice and thick. It does take a little while to dry so make sure you wait before applying that second coat. I find that if I apply a base coat, 2 coats of this and a top coat, this easily lasts for a week without chipping. Without the base and top coat it can last for 3-4 days - still pretty good going for a nail varnish! I would recommend using a base coat with the darker colours, as like all dark nail varnishes, they have a tendency to stain your nails.

The range of colours is the best thing about this collection and they bring out new colours all the time with new colours for each season to fit with that season's colour trends. Most of the colours are named after London streets and I have, amongst others, South Molton St (a pale pink perfect for French manicures), Tate (a deep red), Greek St (a bright pink), Victoria & Albert (a bright scarlet), Piccadilly Circus (a dark cerise pink), Belgrave Sq (a sparkly bubblegum pink), and Shoreditch (a matte hot pink). There are so many different finishes as well - matte, sparkly, patent, metallic, pearl - you're really spoilt for choice. I tend to go for the pinks and reds, but there are also so many other colours to choose from - from Black Taxi (a patent black) to Upper St (ocean blue) to Regents Palace (a fabulous sparkly purple new this season).

Nails Inc varnishes can be bought online via their website www.nailsinc.com (which offer cashback via most cashback shopping sites) or from House of Fraser or John Lewis stores. Each Nails Inc varnish costs £10.50 each, or you can buy in a colour collection set which includes 3 varnishes for £20 which offers much better value - they release most of the season's new colours in a set each season so you can keep up with the trends, as well as producing sets of their most popular colours like "The Reds" or "The Pinks".

Even better this month - Glamour magazine are giving away a free Nails Inc varnish with their December edition so for only £2 you can get a great magazine and a great nail varnish! You can choose from 3 colours, including one of my favourites, Piccadilly Circus - spread the word!

Summary: Great long lasting nail varnish in a range of colours
