WHAT IS IT?
This is nail polish that is made by Nails Inc. The shade is called Piccadilly Circus and the colour is cerise red.
WHAT I THINK
I like Nails Inc nail polishes very much because the shades are what you cannot find always from other brands of nail colour. Piccadilly Circus has got a colour in the bottle that you think is just like any other cerise red but when you apply it it is a very deep shade that looks a little bit different from other nail polish that have got the same sort of shade.
I think it is very sophisticated and it is easy to apply also because the brush is the same as any other Nails Inc nail polish and it is the correct size and shape for me to be able to apply my nail polish on myself or a client very easy without making any mistakes.
I use base coat always with Nails Inc nail polishes and I would for definite with Piccadilly Circus every time because it has got such a deep shade that I think it would stain or damage the colour of my nails.
It is easy to remove with nail polish remover.
I like the shine when I use this nail polish and I like also that it does not chip for 2 days or more sometimes after I have applied it. When it chips it does chip badly so I do not try to repair the nail and instead of that I remove the polish and either paint my nails again with Piccadilly Circus or I change my shade, I like this colour so I quite often use the same one instead of changing and if I do that I can just remove the polish from the damaged nail because alot of times only one nail chips quick and the rest are kept in good condition.
The Piccadilly Circus shade can be bought from Debenhams and it costs £12, I think that is value because it makes my nails look very beautiful and is easy to use.
5 Dooyoo Hearts.
I was bought this lovely Nails Inc Nail Polish as a gift. I have since found out that you can purchase it at all the main department stores like Debenhams etc online the price seems to vary, however you can get on Amazon for £9.90.
==The Nail Polish==
This particular nail polish is called Picadilly Circus. The colour is daring, bright and rich deep pinky red and I should add, gorgeous (in my opinion). It is a very warm and modern colour.
The bottle is very modern in style also- glass spherical and tall with a silver lid, emblazoned with Nails Inc cross it, it does look rather expensive and classy on the dressing table (compared to the normal basic short glass bottles with black plastic lids on cheaper versions). The bottle also feels solid and sturdy and does not seem to get knocked over easily due to the nature of the design.
The brush is sufficiently slim to enable near precision on applying the polish. It is not too wide to render the edges of my cuticals and fingers to be coated also in said nail polish. The actual polish I must say is a nice smooth consistency, not too gloopy and goes on delightfully smoothly. Drying time is ok, not the speediest like Rimmel 60 second set. However on the 2nd application I decided to use some of my new-fangled drying spray especially for nails, that certainly speeded up the drying time. Once done my nails looked super glossy and neat. I was pleased with the result.
Five days in and the polish looked just as good, no chips or flakes, the colour still looked pretty and glossy and all-in-all I felt this was a good product with a great colour and shine to it.
The only disadvantage to this polish is I found the actual nail polish fragrance to be somewhat 'over powering' of nail polish smell, I know all nail polishes are strong but this one seems to be doubly so. So my advice would be to paint them near an open window or at least somewhere, where there is good ventilation.
Well I give this gorgeous Nails Inc polish a 4 star rating, a point down for the overbearing nail polish aroma that seems to hang around for ages in the air and on the nails somewhat. However for the colour and shine, and long lasting nature of this polish I give a solid 4 stars. It also has the added bonus of looking exceptionally pretty in your bathroom or on your vanity stand. The colour is stunning on and especially good for the festive season. It also looks good on short nails.
Certainly, I would be happy to receive this as a gift again.
Thanks for reading.
This is a review of the Nails Inc nail varnish in Piccadilly circus (no 280). The colour is a purple pink sort of deep berry colour that I received in a gift set this Christmas.
Love the brand
I will say up front that the majority of my nail polish collection is from Nails Inc. I find it beats other ranges hands down in quality and longevity and I tend to get the gift sets for birthdays and Christmases from my husband when he goes panic buying.
This colour is great
What I love most about Piccadilly Circus is that it is such a lovely wearable colour. It is quite wintery I think but looks elegant and will go with virtually any outfit. One coat gives the right depth of colour and it is not necessary to go for a second coat. The colour is non glittery and has a very shiny finish as do most of the Nails Inc colours.
I always use the caviar base coat before applying nail colour to protect the nail underneath from staining and to increase the life of the polish. I then add the Nails Inc Caviar top coat to prevent chipping and this seems to work well for me. If I can get away with one coat of colour this is an added bonus for both drying time and the overall thickness of the end result on the nail.
On most nails I load up the brush (not too thick) and go for two swipes, three on a thumb or larger nail. I have also used this on toes and it looks great.
I am happy to get three perfect days out of a manicure and this colour fulfils that. After this there is sometimes a little wear on the end of the nail where I have touched or scraped against things and once or twice the thumb nail has peeled off but this may be down to doing the base or top coat too thick on the nail. If I have gone swimming I sometimes get nail varnish peel through too much water exposure but this goes for all nail varnishes, not just Nails Inc.
To buy this on its own costs £11. That does sound a lot for a nail varnish but they are really good! You can get the price down a little by buying in a set or having a manicure on the counter in store then buying the colour. I was a bit annoyed when I heard that this colour was given away on the cover of Glamour magazine in December 2011 (bearing in mind that I got it in a set for Christmas 2011!). I just think that's a bit cheeky but I'm sure I'd think otherwise if I was the one getting it free with the magazine!
As with all the nails inc bottles it has a silver top with a brush in the lid and a glass bottle body so you can see the colour within.
My final thoughts
Piccadilly Circus is a staple colour in my collection and one that I will return to often. It's a little bit gothic in colour and will probably appeal to ladies of all ages. It does come out a little darker on the nail than it looks in the bottle.
Nails Inc is a well branded make of nail varnish that you know is going to be of high quality yet a bit more expensive than some other brands available today. The price works out at about £11.00 per polish although you can buy these in sets to make them a bit more cheaper or better again you can hint that you like them and hope that someone buys you one for Christmas as I did. My mam always does me a goody bag at Christmas which consists of lots of bath and beauty items and in my bag was the nails Inc polish in Piccadilly Circus.
The varnish comes in a clear 10ml pot in which the colour can be seen through. It also has a chrome lid that is probably just a little bit smaller than the polish compartment. The bottle is slightly rounded and displays the nails Inc logo to the front. The back simply contains the nails Inc address and website should you want to visit this.
The Piccadilly circus shade is kind of a dark cerise pink and the colour you see through the pot is the exact colour in which it will look once applied to the nail. One coat of this polish does cover the nail very well however I always like to apply 2 coats as I think it gives a deeper colour with added shine and durability.
I love the brush in this nail polish as although it doesn't look any different from other brands it actually feels different on application, the brush feels a lot smoother like silk and it really glides over the nail creating an even and precise finish. The consistency is also very good as it is not gloopy and doesn't hang onto the brush meaning an over flow occurs onto the nails.
The product dries quickly and has a milder scent compared to some other polishes that are available, I have come to the conclusion that the more expensive the polish the less is stinks whereas buying a very cheap make is overpowering. I would definitely recommend this polish as its long lasting rich colours add a statement.
Nails inc is an expensive brand, no doubt about it. It looks professional, and has a good reputation. So, when I saw this brand and colour with a magazine as a free sample, I just had to get it. (Magazine price = £2, Nail polish price = £11, no brainer).
Having got a previous nails inc polish (also free in a magazine, haha cheap skate) I decided to add to my collection. Although, I'm not sure why as my other polish had dried up and gone lumpy and gooey.
Anyway, this piccadilly colour is beautiful. It's a very deep colour though, so when I use it I find it best to put on a base coat so it doesn't stain the nail; or make it impossible to remove, like I have found with this colour. I would also advise that you put a top coat on, as this gives a more professional look, and can prevent chipping.
I have found this polish to only give a few days wear, before the dreaded chipping begins; you know it is downhill from here at this stage. As this is such a dark colour it is so noticeable that I can't stand it and just take it off at this stage.
I have also found this with the other colour I have, although this is a very pale pink, so I get an extra few cheeky days wear out of this one. Although, to be fair, the brand does not make a particular promise about how long it will stay on, as many others do. So fair play.
Also, having just this minute painted my nails, I tried to open the piccadilly circus polish, and the top just screwed off - without the brush. So the brush was still in the pot but the silver part was in my hand. Sure you'd agree poor quality for the price.
Overall, it is a good quality product. It's thick and not watery like cheaper alternatives.
However, I would not pay £11 for this, as I feel you are only paying for the brand, and that there are cheaper, and just as good, alternatives available.
Until recently I had never used, or even heard of, Nails Inc Piccadilly Circus Nail Polish, but a friend of mine recommended it after I commented on how nice her nails looked. The Nails Inc. comes in a wide variety of shades, but the Picadilly Circus Deep Pink Nail Polish is a very deep and rich pink that really stood out to me and looked really attractive even before I'd tried it on. A bottle of the Nails Inc Picadilly Circus Deep Pink Nail Polish usually retails at around £13.00, but I found it on www.justbeautifully.co.uk/ for just £4.95 which I felt was a good enough price and I was tempted by the discount.
The nail polish comes in a standard nail varnish style bottle which is small and made of transparent glass so you can see the true colour of the nail varnish before you buy it. The packaging is simple but none the less quite sophisticated looking and I like the look of it. The brush applicator is attached to the underneath of the screw top lid and is pretty standard in terms of brush applicators. The bristles are fairly fine and so it allows a neat and accurate application which is non-streaky.
During application, it becomes clear that the colour is true that which is seen in the bottle. It is a lovely vibrant pink colour which is quite deep and rich and it just looks like quite a sophisticated shade and not gaudy at all. Only one coat of the polish is required, and intact I've found is somewhat detrimental to the overall finish to apply more than one coat. The coal of polish looks neat and smooth - and professionally done. One negative thing about this product is that I find it takes quite a long time to dry once applied - and you need a good 15 minutes to sit doing nothing to allow for it to dry thoroughly. However, once fry, it seems really strong, and while it can chip occasionally, it usually doesn't start to chip for 2 - 3 days.
Overall, I recommend this product, especially at the reduced price.
I got this nail varnish in ' Piccadilly Circus' free in glamor magazine and i love it. Best Nail varnish colour and brand I have ever used. The colour is new/differnt/beauty it is a reddy/purpley beautiful colour. It last for ages! and dosn't chip at all. Its so easy to apply and the packaging looks neat.
The only down side to this nail varnish is the smell. Its very very strong and dosn't smell great when applying.
I really do think this is the only nail varnish what last for 7days. It is great! After getting this Nail varnish free in a magainze I will be buying it from the shops as i love it so much.
Great tip :)
I put on a cheap base coat and then i cleaned my nails with nail oil waited 1/2 hour then played 2 thick coats of the nail ink nail varnish on. I then put glitter onto the tips! They looked great
I love Nails Inc polishes, they have a fantastic range of colours that they are continually adding to and they all have fab names, this one Piccadilly Circus is my favorite, at the moment.
I bought mine from my local independent beauty store for £9, which is a bargain, as they retail on the Nails Inc website for £11 (May 2012).
The bottle holds 10ml of polish and is made of glass so you can see the lovely colour and has a plastic silver screw lid that is easy to use and does not leak.
Piccadilly Circus is a deep cerise pink shade that I think looks best on toes in the summer; it has a lovely deep shine that makes your toes look fabulous. I do use it on my finger nails from time to time, but find it a little too pink for a day in the office.
The application brush is nice and soft, but strong enough to give good colour coverage and I find that I use two or three brush strokes to cover my thumb/big toe nails and only one for my little toe and finger. The colour is very glossy and deep cerise that looks great. I also find that it is touch dry within a few minutes and fully dry after about 10 minutes, so if you are putting on shoes, I would wait a while too prevent smudging. I apply two coats of colour, but one is sufficient if time does not allow. The polish tends to last a good few weeks on my toes, which is amazing, and about 4-5 days on my finger nails, as unfortunately household chores and washing up needs to be done, often spoiling a good manicure. It is also easy to remove, with nail polish remover, and does not stain my nails or fingers/toes.
Overall I would recommend Nails Inc nails polishes, all of them, they have such a great range of colours that I have never been disappointed with and Piccadilly Circus is the best of them all.
I was introduced to Nails Inc after receiving a free nail polish of theirs in Glamour magazine. The colour I received was called "Basil Street" and it was a beige colour.
I wasn't keen on "Basil Street" but I saw this one on eBay for £3 and decided to treat myself as I am a lover of pinky red shades, and this one is a real pinky red shade. The bottle itself is gorgeous and you can see the shade inside. It's a real feminine shade and the colour is really bright and vibrant. The brush that is inside the bottle is great quality. It's lovely and soft and it feels nice when it's brushed against the nails.
You only need one coat of this nail polish as it's quite thick in consistency and the colour of the polish is really bright. I would say that the polish takes around ten to fifteen minutes to dry, although you could place your hands under a nail dryer to speed the drying process up a little bit. The nail polish is excellent quality. It lasts for days and days before chipping. I would say that it lasts for around one week before it starts to chip. The polish doesn't stain the nails - I actually think it improves the quality of your nails myself!
This polish actually helps to strengthen my nails. It improves their appearance and they don't break/ chip as much with this nail polish. It's both easy to apply and easy to remove. It doesn't smell too strong either.
You can buy Nails Inc nail polish in tons of colours but I love this one the most!
I never ever used to wear nail polish. I don't know why, but it was just never my 'thing', even though I liked to grow my nails long. However, fast forward a few months and I now have a new way of thinking; I think that nail varnish looks great. I also think that even if you haven't got much time to make too much of an effort with your appearance (with accessories etc) at least it looks like you have tried.
I had never heard of Nails Inc before. I was first introduced to Nails Inc when I received a free gift of nail polish with my recent copy of Glamour magazine. Apparently Nails Inc is a bit of a 'designer' company.
As I like to paint my nails different colours, I have a huge collection; the majority of my nail varnishes are cheap and cheerful (Miss Sporty) etc. Whilst they do the job to some extent, they do chip a lot, and so I was looking forward to using a 'designer product'.
The polish comes in a clear glass bottle (so you can see the nail varnish) The top of the brush is very chunky which is great as it means that you have a great grip, meaning that it is easy to control. The brush itself is quite long which is good as it means that you can paint 'nice long stokes of varnish onto your nails.
The nail varnish is a very attractive colour; a lovely cross between a dark pink and a dark red. It is quite a unique colour and looks quite rich and luxurious. I love the colour as is just so pretty; I think that it goes well with most colours; I wore it both with a pink outfit and a red outfit and it went well with both colours and didn't 'clash'.
Applying the nail varnish is simple, simply apply two coats (as it tells you on the bottle). The varnish covers really well and gives a really professional look. You can tell that the nail polish is an expensive one as it is very good quality.
I was so eager to try this nail polish that I didn't read the instructions on the back; I applied a few coats I think as the nail polish chipped on the edge. The next time I used it, I applied the polish as requested and it was fine and didn't chip too much. The nails themselves looked really good with the polish, however, probably due to me typing so much on the computer, the edges of my nails had chipped a little bit.
I always seem to be in a rush and so I hate it when I have to wait ages for nail varnish to dry; usually I end up getting it all over things because it hasn't dried properly. However, this nail varnish dried in no time! I was really impressed!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this nail varnish and would definitely recommend the other colours in the range. There are loads of other colours in the Nails Inc range; they are quite expensive though, costing over £10 for a little bottle. I have seen them free with quite a few magazines though and so I would recommend having a 'look around' for a free sample before splashing out. Although even though being 'tight', I don't think that I would be willing to spend over £10 on a nail varnish, I do think that they are worth every penny.
Thanks for reading!

-- Reasons for buying --
I have used many different brands of nail polishes in the past and find it very difficult to find one that is long lasting and for a reasonable price. This was quite expensive, but I had read so many positive reviews based on this product. So on my travels, I popped into Boots and came across this gorgeous colour!
-- Appearance of the polish --
This polish comes in a glass transparent bottle, with a silver screw-able lid. On the front of the polish, 'nails inc', with 'london' underneath is clearly displayed. The lid is very good and keeps the polish secure and safe from spillages. The bristles on the application brush are an average length and surprisingly soft, which I do believes affects the outcome of the polish in a positive way. The shade of the colour, is a beautiful pinky red. I have never recognised a colour similar to this before, so I was very enthusiastic to try it.
-- Application --
It's very easy to apply, I simply remove any old nail polish, trim and file my nails and then continue to evenly coat both hands. The polish dries very quickly, within a couple of minutes and then after I continue to apply a second coat. The colour is very true to what you see in the bottle, I have had past experiences where the colour looks different in bottle, to on your nails.
It is also extremely easy to remove, no harsh scrubbing with cotton pads and nail polish remover for this one. A simple few strokes is all you need! I would definitely recommend using a base coat before applying the colour, as it did tend to stain my nails a little pink, which didn't take long to fade, but doesn't have any benefits for your nails.
-- My experience --
I found this polish a joy to use, the colour is absolutely gorgeous. The application brush makes it easy to evenly coat your nails and achieve flawless results. The colour is very flattering and isn't too in your face, so subtle enough to wear for any occasion. I also found that it dried very quickly compared to other polishes I have used.
I did find a couple of downfalls with the product one being the price of the polish, which I will list below and the other being that it chips within the first couple of days. I do tend to bite my nails, which I think may have caused it to chip more easily. When I applied it to my friends nails, she said hers didn't start to crack until the third day, which isn't much better. I then also applied a top coat to my nails to see if this made a difference, the results lasted a lot longer, so that would be definitely worth trying.
-- Price and Availability --
This is available in most drug stores and online stores. I purchased this from Boots for £11. I find the price to be extremely expensive for the 10ml you receive. I do really like the colour and only spending it once every so often isn't too bad, but if it was more regular, I probably wouldn't purchase from this brand.
Overall I absolutely love this colour, it's extremely flattering and very subtle. It's very versatile, so you can wear it with pretty much anything. The price is a little to expensive for me, so I wouldn't make a habit of buying nails inc nail polishes, but as I'm very fond of this colour, I will re-purchase when I need to.
Appearance and Aim.
This nails inc nail varnish comes in a small rounded glass see through pot, this is approximately 3 - inches tall, the bottle itself measures the same length of the lid with the brush attached this makes them both the same size so around 2 inches each, the bristles on the brush are average length but slightly softer than others for some reason, I'm not sure if they have used something different to other brands but it's nicer. The packaging itself isn't very fancy, the see through pot allows us to fully see the real colour. The only thing fancy about this nail varnish is that it comes in the front with a swirly gold leaf design going around a hole in the box so we can see the nail varnish. The aim of this is pretty obvious, it's to make your names a beautiful colour.
Shade and Application.
Piccadilly circus is a red red colour but with an under tone of pink, the shade on your nails matches up exactly to the colour whilst it's in the bottle. Before applying you are supposed to use Nails inc under over but I don't have the time or money, I just make sure my cuticles are OK then proceed to painting. When unscrewing this at first the varnish is a very running consistency but not enough to just drip off of the brush, brushing this on your nail first it goes on extremely easy but watch how long you take because this can drip off the brush so make sure you wipe all excess off because this goes a long way you don't need a lot on the brush.
When your first coat is dry you'll notice you have a streak free block shade of a pinky red. Of course you always need to apply more than one layer with any nail varnish, this only takes around 1 minute or 2 to try so once you've done your hands and given them a shake then they'll be ready to do again, when you do the next layer and it's dried the shade will be more like the shade stated that it should be, the colour is always even on all the nails with a block red/pink shade.
Wearing and Taking off.
I bite my nails (trying to stop) so this doesn't look as lovely as it did on my sister nails because she has long layers, but on a good day of me not biting them they look really nice, I've had many people inspect the colour and then gone and purchased this too. Wearing this varied between my hands and feet, this did start to chip within 2 days of me wearing it on my hands, but once it's finished chipping I would be left with little bits left on my hands for roughly two weeks (I did a test to see how long it would last) However on my toes the colour stayed strong and not damaged for a week before it began to chip, I think that's because my toe nails are actually bigger than my hand nails.
Taking this off any nail varnish remover will take this off but I noticed you still have to apply a little pressure to get this off without leave parts in the side of the nail or the cuticles, if I had on more than 2 layers I found it took several minutes to rub off and it did stain my nails a little.
Conclusion, Price and Availability.
Overall I love this shade, it isn't too girly and isn't too dark either which means it's suitable for every day wear for work or interviews and even classy enough to wear on a night out. I did find myself re doing some layers if I wanted this to last a longer time which was a bit of a hassle but I love the shade and the brand and I have several shades by nails inc. The price is steep for nail varnish it's £11 and you can purchase this from their website at www.nailsinc.com. This is pricey and of course sometimes cheaper is better but I haven't seen a similar shade to this in a cheaper brand and this does last considerably longer than most so I'm really happy for it, although you won't feel the same if you don't splash out every now and then.
Have this nailpolish from a magazine, so got it for £2 only. It is very good quality and I think it might even be worth the full price.
The packaging it really classy, a round bottle with a plastic shiny silver cap. The brush is good quality and have not had problems with applying the nail polish.
The nailpolish colour is lovely, a classic red with a hint of a colder colour. It applies thick, as in opaque, in a way that even one coat could be enough if you are on the run. It is not runny, or too gloopy, and it goes on smooth. With two coats you will get an excellent cover, a shiny finish even without a topcoat. It dries out quick. It is easy to remove and does not stain the nails.
It hasn't chipped on me yet, it just slowly wears off at the tip of the nail, and even after 2-3 days it is still shiny and looking very good. It will look good for about 4 or days, given I don't use base coat or top coat.
The months leading up to my wedding last year I got gel overlays done on my nails in order to grown them and keep them looking nice for the day, I did continue this for a month after my wedding and had the last lot done in September, however I then decided that it was getting a bit expensive at £30 every 3 weeks and with a baby on the way didn't really want to be spending that out on my nails every few weeks, I am actually trained in manicure etc so can actually do them myself so I decided that I was going to grow my nails naturally without the gel. Once all of the gel finally came off with a bit of picking, my nails were a bit of a mess so I had to keep them painted for several weeks, this was quite close to Christmas and the nail varnish I was using was really old and starting to get a bit past it so I asked my parents to get me some new nail varnishes for Christmas, I didn't mind what make or colour just something pretty. they actually brought me several different brands one of which was Nails Inc, I had heard a lot of good things about this particular brand so was keep to give it a go.
The Nails Inc Nail varnish comes in a short yet wide rounded glass bottle, this allows you to see the colour of the nail varnish inside, there is nothing fancy about the packaging, it has the words "Nails Inc London" written on the front of the bottle in white with the colour written in small white lettering right at the bottom which in my case is "Piccadilly Circus". The only other information on the bottle appears on the back and includes contact details for Nails Inc should you require it and a symbol to show that this product is flammable. The bottle has a large chunky shiny silver lid which simply screws on and off of the bottle, the lid is actually the same size as the glass section of the bottle doubling the size of the whole thing.
As I have mentioned the Nails Inc nail varnish I have is called Piccadilly Circus, this is basically a darkish red colour, in the bottle the nail varnish looks like a bit of a pinky red however once applied to your nails and fully dried it does look like a darker red with no pink in it at all. I decided to try this colour out on my toe nails first as I had never tried this brand and wasn't sure how I would get on with it.
Upon removing the lid I had a quick look at the brush used to apply the nail varnish, as with most nail varnishes the brush is attached to the lid with the lid forming the handle. The brush is quite long meaning that you can get right to the bottom of the bottle thus not wasting any of the product, the bristles that you actually apply the nail varnish with are also quite long and the whole thing is quite thin, personally I like this when it comes to a nail varnish brush as the long thin bristles means that you can easily and smoothly apply the varnish to your nails in just two or three clean sweeps eliminating streaks forming in the nail varnish. The nail varnish was of a good consistency, it was not too thick and quite runny which again is ideal to achieve a good finish. I applied the Nails Inc nail varnish to my toe nails and was very impressed with how smoothly it applied, I could easily cover each nail with just two or three sweeps of the brush and there were no visible streaks at all, also the thin brush meant that I could go right to the edges of my nails without going over the edges onto my skin.
When I paint my nails I usually apply a couple of coats to get a nice rich colour, however with my Piccadilly Circus Nails Inc I could actually get away with just one coat, which on my toe nails I did, the colour looked nice and bright and it covered perfectly, it was not patchy at all, normally when I just apply one coat of nail varnish it does not fully cover and looks quite dull and patchy, however when I had finished after just one coat my nails were fully covered and looked lovely and shiny. I have since used this colour on my finger nails, I did apply two coats to these purely as I felt it may last longer due to my hands being in and out of water and the nail varnish generally getting more wear, however I was just as pleased with the rich red colour and the coverage as I was when applying it to my toe nails.
After applying the nail varnish the next thing was going to be to see how long it lasted, as this was not a cheap nail varnish I was hope it was going to be hardwearing and long lasting. After wearing the Nail varnish for a few days I was pleased to see that it was wearing very well, there were a couple of chips in the ends of my finger nails, however I did expect this after a few days as on your hands nail varnish gets a lot more wear with being in and out of water and everyday activities, however my toe nails were still in perfect condition and had not chipped at all, I was extremely happy with this as I hate having to constantly touch in my nail varnish every day, this would be an ideal nail varnish to wear on your toes for a holiday as it would with stand all of the general wear and tear your nails go through. I didn't need to reapply the nail varnish to my fingers but simply touched in the chips and you would never know they had been there. When I did finally remove my Nails Inc nail varnish I was a little concerned that I hadn't applied a base coat and that my nails were going to be stained red, however this was not the case my nails had not been stained at all, again I was very pleased with the results.
As I have mentioned I received my Nails Inc nail varnish as a present however their on line shop is selling this for £11.00, personally I think it is rather expensive for a nail varnish, my Mum didn't actually pay this much for it, however I'm not sure I would be prepared to pay this amount of money for a bottle of nail varnish. However it is of an excellent quality, it is long lasting and leaves your nails looking in lovely condition, the colour is rich and it is pretty chip resistance although it does not make any claims to be. I would also say that this particular nail varnish is long lasting as you can get away with just one coat, however this may not be the case with lighter shades. To some extent I would say yes the nail varnish is worth the money as it is of such a high quality, however I still think that it is a bit over priced and I'm not sure I could bring myself to pay that amount of money for nail varnish. Obviously the price does depend on where you purchase it from.
I would definitely recommend Nails Inc Piccadilly Circus nail varnish, it is a high quality nail varnish that is long lasting, very resistant to everyday life and is very easy to apply. The nail varnish gives a lovely smooth and shiny finish to your nails and the red colour of this particular shade is very rich. Personally I think this is a colour you could get away with wearing on both your finger nails and toe nails so it is very versatile, it would be an ideal nail varnish to wear when on holiday. For me the only disadvantage of Nails Inc is the price tag, in my opinion it is a bit over priced for a nail varnish and I do not think I would buy this at full price, however if you can find it a bit cheaper than it is definitely worth it and is a high quality product, other than the price this is definitely a product I would recommend to anyone.
I own a few different colours of Nails Inc nail varnish now. Some are courtesy of womens monthly magazines as they give them out sometimes as a free gift. I actually tried my first bottle of Nails Inc nail varnish as a give away and have been hooked on their quality, colours and ethos ever since.
To give you a bit of background on the company:
"Nails Inc were launched in 1999 as a nail bar chain offering quick, high quality branded nail services. Apparently, according to an article I read on the company they, "spotted a gap in the market for professional high quality manicures for women with little time to spare and provide the ultimate in affordable luxury with the trademark 15 minute manicure - nails inc's customers can always find time for a quick pamper." They began with just three stores in London but now have 65 outlets nationwide and offer their products in Debenhams, House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols and Topshop to name just a few."
As this is a London based company a lot of their nail varnishes are named after London landmarks or areas and one of my favourite colours is Picadilly Circus which is described as a dark pink cerise nail polish colour. I usually only wear nail varnish on my toes as for some reason I don't like it on my hands and this varnish was no exception. I used it on my toes all throughout the summer as it was a really nice pop of colour and looked good with somewhat tanned legs whilst I had them. I found this colour was more on the red side than pink as obviously its a dark pink colour and had a really darkish hue to it but was still bright and colourful. The colour really went with anything so you did not have to worry about matching your clothes to it as you would with say a blue or green nail varnish. This nail varnish is quite thick and because the pink is a dark pink it went onto my nails really well and covered up any ridges in my nails or any hint of some old nail varnish left on my toes that I forgot to take off. In fact, with this colour it is quite easy to do some touch ups if you scrap your toes and you can't see that you have added any more nail varnish which is nice.
I love the bottles these nail varnishes come in as I think they look quite stylish. The bottle is The bottle is quite small and round and the top that contains the brush is the same size as the bottle and not smaller like some nail varnish bottles. This actually makes holding the brush a lot easier and applying the varnish quite easy too. The top is a shiny metal colour and looks very sleek and polished. The bottle is then see through to show the colour of the nail varnish inside. It features little images of hands on the front too which is part of their logo so you know you are buying a nails inc product.
I think this colour was one of my free ones which makes sense as I would generally always choose a red/pink colour if I was going to get a free one but if you were to buy it online or int he shops it would cost you £10.50. I have had the original bottle that I got free for about 6 months plus and I have quite a bit left so they do last a long time without getting all gooey and useless like a lot of other brands of nail varnish do if you leave them for a long tim.
All in all a great colour and a great product.
