Nails inc colour enhancing base coat

With my poorly finger hopefully on the mend (the bandage is off) it's time to start on my nails again. As a treat to myself I bought several of the Nails Inc products in the hope that the damage can be repaired.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


This is the base coat which is apparently a silk enriched base coat for instant nail strength.
It can be used to prevent staining of the nail from colour or environmental effects, and as a smooth base for longer lasting polish, and will intensify nail colour for a vibrant colour.
The base coat also promises to help the removal of polish so no more stained cuticles!

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...

The base coat comes in a white box with information on the back.

When I open the box there is a normal type of nail polish bottle, nice and chunky with a big silver screw on/off lid. The brush is the same as I would expect with nail polish and it smells like nail polish.

The base coat looks white in the bottle and on the brush and when I apply it, it does look slightly white, but when it dries, it goes almost clear but if I look closely, it does have a very very slight white tinge but only if you know that it's there. For anyone looking at nails without a coat of colour, nails look as though they have been painted but not with any definite colour.

USING IT...

Apply to clean dry nails underneath your usual nail polish, and finish with a top coat. Use whenever you reapply nail polish

VERDICT...

This base coat goes on easily and dries quickly, leaving a smooth base coat ready for nail polish. When a coloured polish is applied, it goes on smoothly and does make the nail colour look nice and vibrant without any loss or change of colour.

I also like to wear it without any colour over the top and find that it gives a nice clear and smooth finish with the very slightest hint of the fact that I am wearing nail polish. It also serves to strengthen my nails so that when i do reapply and add a colour, i find that my nails are growing nicely.

The promise that the base coat will aid the removal of nail polish has proved to be true and I find that nail colour can be removed easily and effectively with no residue round my cuticles.

Using the products together is having a good effect on my nails but i think thsi would be equally effective used with any nail polishes.

A great product to strengthen nails and one which i would recommend.
