Nars lip gloss is the best, best, best! But don't just take my word for it, it has won the Best of the Sephora award, that's how good it is. I really love lip gloss but your average lip gloss is quite sticky and it doesn't last long at all. With Nars lip glosses you can get a variety of colours from reds to pinks to purples to nudes, they last a good half a day without having to top it up, it's not sticky and doesn't make your lips dry because it instead sits on top of the lips hence why it lasts longer, the lips don't absorb it. The lip gloss is quite thick and it's slightly like putting icing on your lips but the colours look amazing.

The lip gloss comes in a very sophisticated bottle with a black lid with NARS printed on it. The applicator is a sponge-type wand which makes the lip gloss easy to apply, I find you need to apply one coat to the top lid, re-dunk and then apply to the bottom lip. People then usually rub both lips together to evenly spread the colour but I advise against this with the Nars lip gloss as it's not as 'watery' as other lip glosses so when you apply it, it spreads evenly anyway. If you do rub your lips together, the colour is compromised.

The lip gloss is perfect to wear alone or to apply over a lipstick (may I suggest Nars for lipstick too). The lip gloss comes well packaged in a lovely black box. The cost is slightly high at £17 (it's a little lower in some stores due to the drop in VAT) for a 6.25g tube. However, you don't need to re-apply or apply much in the first place, so you'll find it lasts a long time. It's a good investment and once you've bought it, you'll wonder why you didn't buy it sooner :)

I definitely give this product a 10/10 and no cosmetics bag should be without it.
