Advantages: Uhm....cheap?

Disadvantages: Everything else

I have written reviews before about different products I have bought to even out my skin tone. I have a lot of redness on my cheeks, and being pale skinned I find that it really stands out and makes me self conscious.

The natural collection corrector stick is a product I bought a long time ago to try to combat the redness. The idea of the product is that it is a green toned concealer stick, and when applied to the skin, the green in the product should neutralise the red tones in the skin, making the skin tone look even.

~Packaging~

The concelaer stick comes in a white pearly tube, and when you remove the lid, it twists up just like a lipstick.

~Using it~

When applied to the skin, I find that the concealer is quite dry and not as creamy as you may expect from this kind of product. I think that means you have to drag this over your skin a bit more, as the texture means that it doesn't glide onto the skin very easily.

Once on the skin I find that the product looks more grey than green. I find blending it can be quite difficult sometimes. Although the products texture does change under the warmth of you fingertips, and starts to soften a bit, it's still fairly dry and I find that it can go a bit streaky.

~Results~

Once blended, I think the concealer just looks plain odd. It seems to make the skin look a ghostly white/grey colour, and doesn't get rid of redness at all. Applying foundation over the top of this does improve the appearance a bit, but even so the redness is still there and my foundation looks a strange colour with this underneath.

~Price~

This costs just £1.99 from Boots.

~Conclusion~

I wouldn't buy this again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so either. It didn't improve the tone of my skin, and actually made me look like I was dead!
