“ Brand: Boots Natural Collection / Type: Lipgloss / Suitable for: Lip „
I am not a huge lipgloss wearer so whenever I do buy it I don't want to be spending an inane amount for something I will hardly wear here are my thoughts.
This comes in a small plastic tube, this is see through so you can see what is inside. As with all the natural collection makeup there is a white petal design with natural collection written in brown in the middle. The plastic is of really good quality and does not smash is or leak in the bag. The cap is screw top and the doe foot applicator is inside there.
The applicator is not the usual scratchy uncomfortable type I have comes to expect from cheap glosses and is actually quite nice on the lips.
The gloss itself
I have two colours a light pink and a nude, the light pink smells of nothing but the nude has a biscuity smell, which is actually quite nice. As with most glossed they to on very sheer and at first can seem quite sticky, after a couple if minutes though this does calm down and there is no awkward hair stuck in gloss moments.
Part of the reason I do not like glosses is that the staying power is rubbish and these are no exception. After a couple of drinks or something to eat this is all but gone and I have to reapply. As this is a trait of gloss in general I will not mark it down for this. This also makes it very transferable so I won't be getting any kisses with this on.
The gloss I fairly thick but is very easy to apply to the lips and it is simple to get a nice even colours. Any mistakes are very easy to clean up.
This is not particulary moisturising to my lips but it does not dry them out, which is always a bonus.
Price and Availabilty
This can be purchased from Boots instore or online and retails for around £1.99, quite often there is a 3 for £5 deal on the products. This is great value and I will be buying this again when I need lipgloss.
As we were on holiday last week in the glorious sunshine of Marrakech, I decided before we went that a few new bits and bobs were needed including a new lip gloss as my previous E.L.F. gloss was beginning to run out. Browsing through my local Boots, I was quite simply on lip gloss overload as there are so many options to choose from. Therefore not wanting to spend too much and with limited time available, I chucked a tube of this Natural Collection gloss into my basket.
This Natural Collection lip gloss comes quite simply packaged in a translucent plastic tube which houses 8ml of lip gloss and is capped with a white screw top lid. Although there seemed a myriad of colours to choose from at my local Boots, a quick look on the Boots website reveals that there are only three options available for online purchases and these are Toffee Cream, Vanilla and Raspberry Ripple, each name characterising the colour of the gloss inside. As I like a soft shade of pink I opted for the Raspberry Ripple gloss and this looks like a shimmery candy pink through the translucent body. On the body of the tube are the words "Natural Collection" and a brief description of the gloss which states: "juicy colour and shine with juicy flavour".
Opening the tube is easy in my opinion as the lid simply screws open to reveal a white applicator brush which is built into the lid. The applicator wand is quite small in size and has a soft fuzzy texture and this design means that the gloss spreads softly onto my lips with precise application. The scent of this lip-gloss is what makes it special in my opinion with my colour option having a soft fruity fragrance typifying that of its raspberry namesake. Although this lip gloss claims to have "juicy flavour", mine seems to have a small hint of fruitiness which although pleasant is not in my opinion juicy. That being said, the scent and taste of this lip gloss is clearly very attractive to flies, and as my holiday continued I did get slightly fed up with having to brush the little blighters away from my face with constant hand flicks every time I put any lip gloss on.
I prefer to apply this lip gloss to clean lips although you could apply it over existing lip stick for a pop of shiny colour. In my experience, this gloss is a medium texture and although the wand makes an exaggerated plop every time it is pulled out of the tube, the gloss itself spreads quite evenly and is not too thick. Although my lip gloss looks quite candy pink in colour inside the tube, once applied to my lip area it looks very pale in colour and the shimmery qualities of the gloss are what make it look like my lips aren't naked. However, since returning from holiday my face is slightly more tanned and the result is that the colour looks slightly more pronounced against the rest of my face.
Durability wise, this lip gloss seems to last around an hour after application, with the exception of having something to eat or drink at which point my lip gloss seems to come off completely. The slightly sticky sensation on my lips tells me when it is there however it does need topping up quite regularly to keep up the polished look.
I bought my lip gloss from Boots where it is sold and paid £1.99 for it. In my experience this is good value for money for a basic everyday lip gloss which provides brief periods of shine. However for a product with slightly more longevity I might look for something else.
Overall this is a good value lip gloss which has a delightful fragrance and for that it comes recommended. However the constant fly magnet qualities and lack of longevity does knock a star off in my opinion. With this in mind this lip gloss scores a perfectly acceptable four stars.
I hope this review has been of some help and thanks for reading! x
I like to wear a lip balm or a gloss during the day and on nights out when I am wearing minimal make-up. I have tried loads of different lip glosses through the years and I have found that it really does pay to not go for the really cheap ones as they are thin and do not last any length of time on my lips.
I bought some Natural Collection lip gloss from Boot's as it was cheap and I have tried some Natural Collection products before and thought they were good for the price. The lip gloss was rubbish though.
The lip gloss was supposed to give a strong colour alongside loads of shine but the colour was so subtle that it was almost unnoticeable. This wouldn't have been that big a problem as I would have just worn it as a gloss but it felt and looked horrible on my lips.
The gloss is quite thin but it was also incredibly sticky which surprised me considering that it was so thin. It was terrible that everything would stick to it and even my lips would stick together when I opened my mouth.
There wasn't much shine to the gloss either and it was as though I had just put loads of chip fat on my lips. The best thing about it was probably the fact that it lasted so little time before wearing away. Normally this would be a bad thing but because the gloss was so rubbish I was pleased to get rid of it.
It also didn't give my lips any moisture so even though I put loads of gloss on them they still felt dry and I felt the urge to lick my lips to try and relieve it.
Probably the only thing that I liked about this lip gloss was the container and the wand applicator which made putting on the lip gloss easy though normally I do prefer a squeezy tube the wand with this lip gloss was actually really nice to use.
This is a cheap lip gloss and I could tell this when I was wearing it. It didn't feel nice on my lips, had no colour to it and wore away really quickly. It costs £1.99 in Boot's and even this is over priced for it in my humble opinion.
I first purchased this lipgloss mainly because of its great price, and I was very pleasantly surprised! The first impression is its lovely fruity smell, and the sturdy sponge tipped applicator. This makes it easy to apply, and it goes on nice and smoothly although slightly sticky.
The colours are great - a good selection is available, in lots of easy to wear shades. I now own a few of the pink ones, and my favourites are the berry pinks which look flattering and rich. The gloss has a lovely shine and finish, and stays in place well for about an hour, although if you eat, drink, lip your lips or kiss, this will be less.
I do prefer slightly longer lasting glosses, but at £1.99 I can not find a better one than this. If you are looking for a nice-looking lip gloss with good colour, shine and smell at a fantastic price, then this one is definitely worth a try. If you want a long-lasting formula however, it is probably not for you.
As a woman who loves make-up and exploring new products, whenever I buy a new product they always have stiff competition, this is especially the case when a new lipgloss enters my make-up bag. Personally, I love lipgloss, I've never been one for lipstick so when it comes to lipgloss they are pretty much an essential in my make-up bag.
I have two lipglosses from the Natural Collection at Boots, the first is called 'Caramel Shortcake' and the second unfortunately I cannot name as the writing has been rubbed off the label from being in my make-up bag. It just so happens that I didn't buy either myself, both were given to me by my sister who decided she didn't like the colour of one and didn't get much use of the other. Never one to turn down a freebie I happily took them off her hands and couldn't wait to give them a go as I had never tried the Natural Collection's lipglosses before.
Packaging & Apllication - So, the packaging is pretty much as simple as you can get which is in-keeping with the natural collection's range of sticking to the basics. You can easily see the colour of the lipgloss at one end and a simple screw white cap at the other. The lipgloss has a pretty standard wand applicator, the type that has a sort of little sponge at the end where the product sits. I like this form of applicator, it is easy to apply but I found that sometimes you do need to dip the wand back inside the tube to get enough product.
Smell - Of course this depends on which shade of lipgloss you purchase, the shade 'Caramel Shortcake' smells gorgeous, it is a smell that is rather difficult to explain but I would say it is more of a bubblegum smell than caramel shortcake. On the other hand, the other 'nameless' lipgloss just has a pretty standard cosmetic smell. This may seem like a very weird thing to say, and I would just like to make it clear I DO NOT EAT MY LIPGLOSS!.... but, i'm sure some of you women will agree that sometimes you can taste your lipgloss, now one of the things that really annoy me about these lipglosses is that I can almost taste them really strongly in the back of my throat. ODD!
Texture - I'm really not a fan of the texture of these lipglosses, they feel rather grainy on my lips and a little slimy. I like my lipgloss to stay where I've put it so this really isn't great for me! Also, they don't last long at all, usually there is no trace of any lipgloss after about 20 minutes.
Colours and Quality - The natural collection of course have pretty natural colours. More or less all shades of pink with a few purpley tones. The lipglosses do stay true to their colours when on the lips but I found that with the 'nameless' lipgloss which is a light pink the colour seemed to sit in the cracks of my lips and look really awful, the only way I can describe it is like when you forget to remove the foundation from your lips before applying lip balm... really not a good look i'm sure you will agree.
Price - The Natural Collection are well known for their affordable products and these lipglosses are no exception at just £1.99 a tube, but for me they just don't quite cut it.
When it comes to lipglosses, until very recently I really wasn't a fan of them at all. ok I bought them and tried them and didn't get on with them then one day I decided to wear it and put up and shut up and was told by a few people it/I looked fabulous! Ok that did my ego a power of good so I ditched all the crappy ones I owned and decided to get some new ones that were a bit more wearable, or what I would hope to be at least!
One of the places I looked for some was in Boots and as usual I was drawn to the Boots Natural Collection products as not only are they all priced at £1.99 each or under they usually have a special offer on as buy any three items for a fiver which I did and more often than not when I want to revamp my look will invest in some too.
Now as far as I am aware of and what I saw instore to purchase and on the website (www.boots.com) there are only three colours to choose from in the range 'Juicy' (Lipgloss shades) and those are Toffee Cream, Vanilla and Raspberry Ripple and as I felt that the Raspberry shade had the most colour in it and so I opted for that.
The tube is quite long and for the most part of it, it is clear plastic so you can see your chosen colour through it then to one end of it, it has a twist on/off white lid to it that holds a sturdy 'wand' and then on the end of that there is a slanted sponge applicator.. On the outside of the tube we are told that it is Natural collection then on the base of it contact details for Boots are given. This is a simple to use tube of lipgloss though not all that high quality in its appearance really however it does the job and thats the main thing I guess!
Well you get a very generous sized product here for your pennies ladies which is 8ml. All you do to apply it is simply pull out the wand with the soft, small sponge on the end and apply it to the lips...its that simple. If you want a little of sheen and gloss to your pout you can of course apply a lipstick underneath but I like this worn alone the best as it really does make my pout look pouty!
I find this to smell gently fruity, it has a slightly sweet flavour to it but it isn't one bit chemically or anything like that and it really does feel smooth and moist on the lips and not one bit sticky. I find my pinkish shade to give a really subtle hint of colour though in the main I think of this as more a nude shade with a very small hint of pink.
Yes it does come off mega quickly when eating, drinking, smoking or even kissing however it transfers off rather transaparent anyway and with the size you get for the money personally I don't mind reapplying this one anyway though I do have to that frequently.
Not only does this give a nice soft sheen to the lips it helps moisturise them and to keep them hydrated and usually I never go overboard for any products from the Natural Collection range but I have to say that for once I really do like one and its this!

Natural Collection is a brand exclusive to boots where most products retail for £1.99. Usually Boots have a promotion for this brand which means you can get 3 products for £5, which means this brand is a great for those who want affordable cosmetic products.
"Natural Collection Juicy Lips Gloss gives intense colour and shine for the lips with a summery juicy flavour"
I opted for the Rasperry Ripple gloss, a light glossy pink that is subtle and natural for everyday make-up.
Natural collection also offer other shades in this range; Toffee Cream, Peach Nude, Vanilla and Cherry Drop. All of which taste like their name.
This lipgloss is packaged in the same convenient doe-foot applicator tube that the Natural Collection Cover up Cream is sold. For £1.99 you get 8ml of product, which if used non-stop would easily last you 3-4 months. It has a white top ( to the doe-foot applicator) and a transparent tube to show you the lip gloss colour. Some may call it cheap packaging ( the writing does rub off) but I personally like the packaging as it is simple and not fussy.
Natural Collection describe the colour as 'intense' but I totally disagree. The rasperry colour that I opted for is quite sheer and very natural looking. The lip gloss applies evenly and leaves the lips looking and feeling smooth. In saying this , the lip gloss consistency is slightly grainy and is very sticky.
The staying power of this lip gloss is where the quality falls. This lip gloss wears off easily and will be gone within 20 minutes. This means reapplication is required frequently if you want to maintain the colour, which can get frustrating.
Initially when this is applied, the lip gloss does keep the moisture in your lips but I find that the more I apply this, the more dry my lips become. Urging me to stop using this.
The rasperry scent, I find, is very convincing and like rasperries. I do find that it is sweet and can get sickly but in small applications is bareable.
Although it is not my go-to product ( as it gets too sickly), I think that this is an affordable product that looks great
Hope you enjoyed reading and thank you.
Natural Collection - Juicy Lops - Intense colour and shine with juicy flavour.
Package - plastic, see thought tube, sponge like applicator, big 8ml capacity. Information on package - package can be recycled.
Product- pleasant, sweet smell kind of backing goods, when applied feels very smooth.
I have quite pigmented rose-red lips and this lip gloss toned it nicely down giving me fashionista nice nude-pinkish lippie with lovely shine. Lip gloss is also not drying lips what happens often especially with cheap products. I talk a lot and tend to lick my lips, so often 'eating' my lip gloss, this have quite sweet flavour - I personally hate chemically testing lip product - so this one is definitely something for me. Unfortunately is not long lasting, so be prepared to re-apply it during the day, but with this size 8ml and price I really do not mind!
All shades are very wearable and are meeting preferences for day - business make up.
Who is ideal person for this product - great for teenagers, who are just starting make-up journey, as well as young professional-fashionistas like me. Perfect for yummy mamas on the go and for offer 3 for 2- very often in Boots, means that you can have 3 lippies for £4!
I recommend them to many friends and colleagues at work and will buy again myself!
Boots Natural Collection Juicy Lips Gloss
I recently bought a make-up item from the Boots website (the Une Kabuki brush, as recommended by MarkSalling, to apply my newly-acquired Lily Lilo mineral foundation, as recommended by Machair1), and was sorely tempted by their 3 for 2 offer, which at the time they were running across lots of make-up products.
I decided to go about my search systematically - that is, to see which two extra treats I could get most cheaply. I had great fun looking at all the available options, and eventually decided to buy a couple of products from Boots Natural Collection range. This is a range of budget make-up and associated products (such as tweezers, toe separators), available either in-store or online. I bought a single eyeshadow for £1.79, and a lipgloss for £1.99, and it's the lipgloss that I am reviewing here.
The Juicy Lips Gloss comes in three colours - Toffee Cream, Raspberry Ripple (a soft and gentle pink), and Vanilla. The lipgloss comes in a clear tube (which has a wand applicator), through which you can see the colour of the gloss. I opted for Toffee Cream, allegedly a very light brown/gold gloss with hints of shimmer. Boots website describes these glosses as giving 'intense colour and shine for the lips with a summery juicy flavour'. I don't think I would say that the colours are 'intense', but I've only tried one, so perhaps the pink is more deserving of that description. The gloss has a pleasant, sweet smell.
The full product description says only that the lipglosses are 'Dermatologically tested'. There are plenty of enthusiastic reviews which can be read on the website.
Soft brown is my favourite lipstick shade, so I thought this would be perfect. However, when my parcel arrived via my local Boots, I thought that the actual colour of the lipgloss would have been better described as the Vanilla option. It's a cream colour, almost clear, with a soft shimmer. I found this a bit disconcerting, and was disappointed that I might have wasted my £1.99. I tried the gloss on my lips, and it looked very pleasant - shiny with a hint of shimmer - but with not much colour to it.
And then I had a cunning plan. I am a complete lipstick/lipgloss junkie, and have enough stashed away to last about five lifetimes. I prefer a softly-coloured approach to my lips, as I like my eyes to have all the attention. A few of my lipsticks are a little too dark for me, and so they have been stored away in my dressing-table drawer.
My cunning plan was this - I applied a coat of lipstick, blotted it with tissue paper so that it left only a stain of colour, then applied the Toffee Cream lipgloss on top. Result! This gave me what I considered a perfect finish, with a soft and glossy colour.
On first application, the gloss feels as though it's going to be a bit sticky, but that's not the case. Instead, I was left with lips that looked and felt beautifully moisturised, and the finished result had good staying-power.
I've often admired the look of actresses and models who (almost certainly with the help of their make-up artists) wear soft and gentle lipcolours, and have wondered to myself , 'Where can I get that exact lipstick?'. Well, now I have a whole wardrobe of soft and gentle actress/modelly-colours, and am quite pleased with myself for having turned a potential disappointment into a smashing bargain. In fact I am so pleased with the effect that I plan on buying another one soon so that I make sure I've got a long-term supply.
My first experiment was with a brown lipstick from Aldi's 'Lacura' range (£1.99) - so I've got exactly the effect I want, from two budget buys. The finished effect both resembles and feels like a premium-quality lipgloss. It has staying power, feels comfortable and moisturising, and looks soft and pretty.
Because in my opinion this lipgloss doesn't match the colour shown on the websit I can't give it five stars. However, I think that its good qualities more than make up for that, and this initially unassuming little number has now turned into one of my make-up wardrobe hits.

It was my birthday recently and I was totally spoilt, lots of presents, flowers, wine and lots of little gifts off my daughter. One of them is a lovely lip gloss by Boots, part of their Natural Collection.
This lip gloss is the Mango and Papaya variety, it comes in a 15ml squeezy tube and retails at £2.60. It is also available in Wild Strawberry. Natural Collection is on offer at present, buy one item and get another at half price, great value.
The gloss is a lovely natural shade, slightly nude in colour, so leaves only a little sheer colour on the lips as well as a natural healthy glossy glow. It contains minute particles of irridescent glitter, which give a lovely sheen to lips rather than a glitter disco ball effect.
I find that this is very moisturising, very much like a lip balm but does have the effect of a gloss also. I think this is perfect for a very natural look, without looking made up, but also would be great used over a lipstick to give a gorgeous gloss.
The smell is devine, very fruity and natural tasting, not at all artificial like some glosses. It tastes rather tropical too, reminiscent of summer cocktails, very moreish! I do realise that this is a lip product and not something to be licked off, but I really can't help it, it really is that nice.
Another plus is that it has a slight 'cool' feeling on my lips, so feels like it is plumping them slightly. I know that this is not part of the claim that this product makes, this is only based on my opinion since using this product. My lips feel full, juicy and plump when wearing this.
I've never used products by Boots Natural Collection, but after trying this, I would gladly give other items in the range a try, especially when they are available on such a good offer. Another bonus point, remember if shopping at Boots, use your Advantage Card to collect points which makes this even more of a bargain.
Would I recommend this product? Yes definitely, it smells divine, tastes delicious, keeps my lips soft, moisturised and glossy all for a bargain £2.60! Well done Boots!
The natural collection lip gloss is the cheapest lip gloss I have in my make up bag, and perhaps surprisingly it is also one of the best.
It only cost a very small £1.99 from Boots, which is the cheapest price I think that you can get a lip gloss for in Boots.
I do like the natural collection but I do find that it is a bit hit and miss. Some things aren't the best, like the foundation which gave me bad skin, and the nail polish, which chips off very quickly and easily. But this lip gloss is like I say one of the best I have in my make up bag, and believe me I own a lot of different lip glosses.
There a lots of different shades that you can chose to buy this lip gloss in. Most of them are light colours and they are all shiny, some even have a bit of added sparkle in them. I have this in a pinky shade. It has a bit of sparkle in it and is very shiny. I absolutely love it, and I think it is definitely a handbag essential.
Although this does come off when you eat or drink, it has got quite good staying power otherwise. It is easy to apply and doesn't feel sticky or too thick and heavy. Basically it is my perfect lip gloss and I can't commend it highly enough. It is made even better by the fact it comes at such a low price.
Overall I would recommend this lip gloss, in my opinion it is fantastic and it is such a bargain. If you're looking for a cheap lip gloss this is for you.
This lip gloss has to be my favourite of the Natural collection because it has passionfruit flavouring. One thing I must say about this product is that it is very smooth on the lips, unlike other lipglosses this one is not sticky and stays on for a good ammount of time.
I bought this lip gloss for £1.99 in boots as this is the only place Natural Collection is available. Up to this day I still use the product because it is very good quality.
The product sold in a 15ml tube which I think is a good ammount for this and last me about 3 months while using it pretty much every day.
The flavour of this is not sour but it is like, you can lick it off your lips and it would taste good. The packaging is pretty and clear, while the purple lip gloss fills it up and makes it purple like with shampoo bottles.
Natural collections products are good quality and are very popular because they look good. The product made my lips look really shiny for around 6hours and made me want to try the other products in this collection as before using this one I had never used it ad will certainly be using it again
I am always looking out for a bargain, so when I noticed that the Natural Collection range in Boots had an offer on of 3 for 2 across their make up range I just couldn't resist - especially as everything is uner £2!
This cost me £1.99 which allowed me to also collect four Advantage card points.
It comes simply in a clear tube allowing you to see the lip gloss colour and a white lid. I have this lip gloss in two colours, them being 'toffee cream' and 'cherry drop'.
The lip gloss applicator is a sponge-tipped one, which is a slight angle, though holds no flexibility like the brush style does.
The lip gloss itself is quite thick, so once applied you definitley need the applicater to give it an even finish or to get rid of any excess.
Once applied the lip gloss doesn't feel as thick. It looks shiney and smooth on the lips as definitley livens up any outfit. One thing I have noticed though, is that even the ones without glitter have a slightly grainy and brittle texture to them that isn't all that nice.
It lasted me a good couple of hours before feeling that I had to reapply it, which is actually quite good for a cheap lip gloss as even with the more expensive ones I feel the need to reapply every 10 minutes!
Overall I would reccomend this for shiny lips, but be wary of the texture!
Boots Natural Collection is a simple fuss-free range of cosmetic items at bargain prices. Each individual item costs £1.99, and there are often 3-for-£5 offers, saving you 97p (which is roughly equivalent to getting one of the items for half price).
Natural Collection has a range of natural, subtle shades and this lip gloss is available in various shades including clear, beigey browns, and pinks. For your £1.99 you will get an 8ml tube with a screw lid containing a long sponge-tipped applicator. I have two of these glosses in the colours Barley Sugar, a neutral golden beige, and Pink Velvet, a pale girly pink.
The gloss feels quite thick when you first put it on, but it spreads easily and you don't need a lot to give a good coverage. The shades are very pale and don't show up too much over your lips, they are very glossy though and give you a lovely looking pout. The glosses contain loads of glitter, so as well as being glossy you get a pretty shimmery look which gives you a pretty sparkly glow. This is great for wearing on its own in the day, or over lipstick in the evening to glam it up. Another neat feature of these glosses is that they are scented, and smell really sweet and lovely when you are wearing them, give the testers a sniff before you buy to make sure you end up with something you like. In my opinion the barley sugar smells a bit like Ovaltine or maltesers, and the Pink Velvet smells like sherbet.
During the day my lips felt quite sticky and it transferred onto cups and glasses whenever I was drinking. To keep the gloss looking pristine I needed to re-apply several times and without using a lip balm underneath this really dried my lips out. However, the glosses that I have are lasting me a long time probably because I don't wear gloss every day, but I've had them for months and there's ~50% of the Barley Sugar, and ~75% of the Pink Velvet still in the tubes.
For the price I think this product is amazing, it looks good and is a real bargain. Wear a lip balm underneath for a little nourishment and keep it handy for touch-ups.
~ Boots Natural Collection Juicy Lips Lip Gloss ~
The Natural Collection is made exclusively by Boots and their vast range features everything from body creams and lotions, shower gels and shampoos to lip glosses, mascaras and foundations. The Natural Collection I feel is aimed at teenagers due to the funky packaging, neutral colours of their cosmetics and fun combinations of their fruity body products. Great for girls that are just experimenting.
I never spend extortionate amounts on make-up as I tend to find that the cheaper brands work just as well. On my latest trip to Boots I was amazing at just how cheap this range is. Most of the items were £1.99 and they also offer 3 items for £5! One of the items that I purchased in this offer was Juicy Lips!
~ The Packaging ~
As most lip glosses, this is packaged in a clear glass tube with a white lid. The design is very pure and simple with just the Natural Collection logo gracing the front of the tube. On the back it reads 'Juicy Lips. Intense colour and shine with juicy flavour' followed by the Boots address details and website address.
~ Juicy Lips ~
The Boots website only feature three of their colours/flavours which are vanilla, toffee cream and raspberry ripple. The one I purchase is called Barley Sugar. The scent is gorgeous but hard to describe what it actually smells like. I chose this one because I was after a natural nude colour and this one fitted the bill perfectly. Shimmery particals adorn this product which really makes your lips look luscious and help them stand out.
Upon first use I found the product was rather thick and hard to get it onto the actual applicator. After pumping the wand in and out of the tube a few times this became a little easier. Now, I really am not a lover of lip glosses. I find them really sticky and uncomfortable to wear and frustrated when my hair gets stuck to my lips all the time. This product is different. It glides on easily, almost like a lipstick. It is non-greasy and stays put fairly well as long as you are not eating or drinking. It does leave a gritty feeling on your lips which I imagine is down to the shimmer particals.
The one thing I am unhappy with is that I don't feel it gives the intense colour that it promises. This almost just looks clear on me apart from the glittery effect. I may have chosen too pale a shade so I will definately be trying another one. That said, it does leave my lips feeling fresh and hydrated.
~ Price and availability ~
As mentioned above, this product costs £1.99 for an 8ml tube. It is a product exclusive to Boots and Boots.com and you will receive 4 advantage card points with this purchase.
If you haven't tried this product before then I would thoroughly reccomend this brand. A 5 star rating from me!
