Advantages: Price, gorgeous smell and taste, variety of colours

Disadvantages: None !

I was in the process of downsizing my make-up kit (I had a huge toolbox full!), and decided that it would be cheaper for me to just have coloured lipsticks and a clear gloss rather than both lipsticks and glosses in the same colour. I didn't want to spend too much money. I just wanted a nice clear gloss to wear over the top of lipstick for extra shine. So, off to Boots I went and headed straight for the Natural Collection stand as I know how cheap and good it's products are. I discovered the yummy sounding 'Juicy Lips Gloss' and picked up the clear, vanilla flavoured one.

Looks: The tube is very simple without being too cheap looking. The tube is clear and has a slightly pearlised off-white lid with the sponge applicator attached. On the front of the tube, it says Natural Collection in black with a white flower shape behind it. On the back it says: 'Juicy Lips. Creates a surge of colour and flavour and high gloss finish to your lips (obviously not in the case of the vanilla one, as it's clear!). You get 8ml in a tube. On the lid is a sticker telling you the flavour of the lipgloss and the barcode. The lipgloss also comes these flavours amongst others:

Raspberry Ripple - light, pearly pink
Toffee Cream - peachy, beige
Forest Fruits - darker pink.

Is it any good?; Yes, fab! It can be worn on it's own for a more natural look, or slicked over your favourite lipstick to add shine and glossiness. It smells edible, and I've actually taste-tested it as well! It does actually taste of vanilla rather than that slightly synthetic, standard lipgloss taste. It doesn't have huge staying power, but fot the price I don't mind as it has so many good points. It stays on til you eat or drink, then you need to re-apply. I think with everyday use, a tube would last about a month. As all Natural Collection lip products are on offer until 5th July, you can pick one up for 99p! But I think even at it's usual price of £2.49, it's still a bargain!

Summary: Fab, good value lipgloss.
