Advantages: Smells lovely, nice colour, good price

Disadvantages: Strange texture, doesn't stay on lips for long.

Natural Collection is Boots own brand of make-up and toiletries and is available from most Boots stores and online on Boots.com. Along with a wide range of products they make the Natural Collection Juicy Lips Gloss. I decided to give this a try when I was buying some Christmas Presents online and needed to spend a few extra pounds to get some bonus Boots Advantage Card points.

The lip gloss comes in three colours Raspberry Ripple (pink), Toffee Cream (brown) and Vanilla (clear). I have heard that there are other colours available but when I bought my lip gloss online from Boots.com these were the only three colours available. The lip gloss I am going to be reviewing is the one I bought which was the raspberry ripple.

The lip glosses have been designed to give "intense colour and shine for the lips with a summery juicy flavour." The lip gloss is available only from Boots and currently costs £1.95 although it is currently on offer for 3 for £5 on selected natural collection products.

The lip gloss comes in a clear tube with a white screw lid to which the applicator is attached. The tube holds 8ml of lip gloss. The applicator is a contoured sponge and comes out with enough product to coat your lips in one application but not too much that it is dripping.

When you open the tube you get a lovely sweet smell of raspberries. It coats your lips quite easily. The pink is a really nice colour, it gives your lips a nice glossy shine. The colour is really nice too, a pale pink which looks quite natural. The gloss has a strange kind of texture it's a little bit sticky with almost a slight grainy feel to it when you put your lips together, its not completely smooth. The texture is the only thing I don't like about this lip gloss it takes a bit of getting used to. Once its on it looks great, it gives a nice shine and the colour is really nice on. The gloss doesn't tend to last long, if you really wanted to keep your lips looking glossy you would probably need to keep applying it every couple of hours.

This is a nice lip gloss, it looks nice and natural on and gives your lips a nice glossy shine and it smells delicious. It is also really good value for money. Only downside is the texture is a little strange and it doesn't last on your lips for very long. It's a nice product but perhaps not one I would rush out to buy again but might try another brand to see if they are any better.

Summary: A cheap lip gloss which smells and looks great but doesn't last long and has a strange texture.
