Advantages: looks smooth and shiny. cheap
Disadvantages: feels brittle and grainy.
I am always looking out for a bargain, so when I noticed that the Natural Collection range in Boots had an offer on of 3 for 2 across their make up range I just couldn't resist - especially as everything is uner £2!
This cost me £1.99 which allowed me to also collect four Advantage card points.
It comes simply in a clear tube allowing you to see the lip gloss colour and a white lid. I have this lip gloss in two colours, them being 'toffee cream' and 'cherry drop'.
The lip gloss applicator is a sponge-tipped one, which is a slight angle, though holds no flexibility like the brush style does.
The lip gloss itself is quite thick, so once applied you definitley need the applicater to give it an even finish or to get rid of any excess.
Once applied the lip gloss doesn't feel as thick. It looks shiney and smooth on the lips as definitley livens up any outfit. One thing I have noticed though, is that even the ones without glitter have a slightly grainy and brittle texture to them that isn't all that nice.
It lasted me a good couple of hours before feeling that I had to reapply it, which is actually quite good for a cheap lip gloss as even with the more expensive ones I feel the need to reapply every 10 minutes!
Overall I would reccomend this for shiny lips, but be wary of the texture!
Summary: An ok lip gloss.
