Advantages: Easy to use, easy to blend, cheap

Disadvantages: None

I purchased Natural Collection tinted moisturiser, based on a dooyoo review I read. I hadn't thought about using tinted moisturiser before and had always been using foundation. I'm not someone who wears make up religiously to leave the house, as generally, I can't be bothered! I wear it for my job during the day, as although there is a fairly casual dress policy, it helps me feel more professional, but that's about it, in terms of make up use! When I heard about tinted moisturiser, I thought it would be a good product to try, as foundation can be fairly heavy feeling. I went into boots, and was surprised to see it right next to my Natural Collection foundation; as I had never even noticed it when purchasing foundation. I think it goes to show how I tend to stick to a product which works for me, rather than investigating other things.

I noticed that the price was rather affordable, at £1.99, it was something that I could reasonably afford to give it a go, as if it didn't work for me, it wouldn't have been the end of the world!

The bottle is a 40ml tube which is standing on a flip top lid, with the name and the logo. The lid has a label with the shade on it, there are 3 different shades, all relatively light. With other brands, I am generally the lightest shade they have. However, with this brand, I was the middle shade, so I think if you were looking for a new brand, you would have to be aware that the shades are lighter.

***Verdict***
I decided to give it a go on a weekend day, just in case it wasn't really me! After applying this tinted moisturiser to the make up sponge I was using, it seemed very similar to foundation, so I wasn't altogether sure whether there was any point in it! However, it applied very smoothly I thought and didn't seem to emphasise dry skin like my foundation does! The coverage was very even and even worked well along the hair line and didn't look like a 'tide mark'. When I had applied it, it most definitely felt different to foundation, as it felt moisturising and much lighter. What I appreciated, was that it was really easy to blend.

After application, it dried really quickly and didn't have a greasy feel to it, like I have found that other products often do. At the end of the day, I took it off in the same way I do for foundation, with cleanser and cotton wool. It came off well and quickly in this way.

Overall, I fully recommend this product. I have found it to be much more useful than foundation and I will continue to use it on a daily basis! I haven't used foundation since I brought this product. I don't think I would use it instead of foundation if I had some kind of dressy event. I would give this product full marks, especially in terms of ease of use and price.

Summary: Fully Recommended
