Advantages: Great for restoring dry chapped hands to their former glory
Disadvantages: Slightly medicated smell and a tiny bit greasy if too much is used.
I have decided to review the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Concentrated which comes in a squeezy bottle.
Price
The norwegian formula hand cream was bought from asda for £2.77 for 75ml. The price may vary from store to store so please bare this in mind.
Container
The container is a squeezy type bottle which is flat at the top abit like the toothpaste type containers. It has a screw on lid. The container is mostly white with blue and red as the only other colours. There is a flag type logo which is blue and white and makes the product brand more recognisable.
Information on the container
The product basically tells you that it is hand cream which is in a concentrated version so that just a dab is needed to relieve dry chapped hands. It is also dermatologist tested.
On the back of the container it gives an ingredient list which is :- Aqua, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Dilauryl Thiodipropionate, Sodium Sulfate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Parfum
It descibes the product as "Immediate and lasting relief for even the most dry hands. Just a dab of this glycerin-enriched formula instantly relieves and protects seriously or chapped hands. Even under the harshest conditions, it leaves hands noticeably softer smoother. Concentrated for over 200 applications." It also has the same information in another couple of languages. The only other information on the back of the container is the barcode, address of the company and it tells you that it can be used for upto 36M.
What the product is like to use.
I have the scented version of this hand cream but it does come in an unscented version. There are also other versions of the hand cream which you can also buy. One that is fast absorbing and a version that has an age shield with spf30 built into it. Anyway back to the one I am reviewing. The smell of the product reminds me of a medicated smell. It isn't particularly a nice smell but nor is it horrible or unpleasent. The first thing you will notice is that it has very tiny dispensing hole. The reason for this is because it is a concentrated version you only need a small amount of the hand cream to rub into your skin. The cream is a cloudy colour that is quite thick. The benefit of this is that it will not run everywhere when you squeeze some out of the bottle. It rubs into the skin fairly easy and is absorbed quite quickly into the skin. If you accidently squeeze out too much then it does become quite difficult to absorb so I just use any excess on other skin but this shouldn't be a problem if you only squeeze out a tiny amount. What I really like about this hand cream compared to others is that a tiny bit does go a long way. It actually does what a hand cream is supposed to do which is moisturise and protect the skin. I have quite sensitive skin on my hands and this is the only hand cream I can use that doesn't irritate the skin. Another good point is when I wash my hands any time after applying hand cream any benefit of it is usually lost down the sink but this one doesn't seem to have that problem and my hands still feel like they are still protected by the cream. The best benefit of this brand of hand cream is that it leaves your hands really soft afterwards. I would really recommend it for those that suffer from dry hands especially in winter time.

Summary: All in all a winter must have to protect your hands.
