Advantages: Soft and supple hands after only one application.

Disadvantages: The cream is very thick and takes a lot of working into the hands.

Our hands need to be moisturised and protected, as they go through so much and they need to look good. I like to take care of my skin especially during the winter months when the skin on my hands tends to become sore and dry. Along with harsh weather our hands are exposed to dirt, chemicals, and if like me they are in water a lot.

Hands give away our age, and they can become neglected until they need some attention. As we get older we start to take more care of ourselves. I think it is important to take care of ourselves sooner rather than later.

I am a busy mum of two, so I don't always get time for myself. I am constantly washing my hands throughout the day as I have to take care of myself and my baby. At times my hands can become sore and dry and it is very uncomfortable.

My hands always suffer more during the winter months; the cold weather makes my hands dry even more. So I am always trying different hand creams to try to reduce and prevent sore hands. I have used the Neutrogena hand cream many times in the past and still use it from time to time.

This is a great hand cream that will benefit people that have damaged hands that are chapped and sore, it will help repair and soothe sore hands. If you have good skin and you are looking for a hand cream to moisturise them then any hand cream will work for you this cream is better for people that suffer with their hands, as it is designed to repair chapped hands.

It is mid priced ranged and offers good value for money, the 50ml tube is concentrated and provides 200 applications! This is hard to believe as it is such a small size. It is perfect to slip into your handbag or pocket for when you are out and about. The packaging is rather simple and doesn't stand out from its counterparts. It is widely available and can be found in most good supermarkets and high street chemists.

It is Dermatologist tested, and it claims to relieve dry chapped hands instantly! Sounds good to me!

So does it actually work?

The tube needs a good squeeze to dispense the cream as it is of a thick consistency and it is concentrated, the opening of the tube is rather small so only a small amount will come out which really doesn't look like it will be enough, I decided to massage the cream into my hands before using any more. It is quite thick and heavy feeling and took a bit of time and effort to work it into my hands, more so than other creams. It left my hands feeling sticky and took a while to absorb, it only took a few minutes to completely absorb into my skin and my hands felt hydrated and smooth.

A small dab of this is all that is needed if you use too much it will take forever to rub in, so you will get a lot of applications from the tube. The cream is clear in colour and it does have a delicate scent to it.

It did relieve my hands and improved the condition of my skin. Overall I was impressed with the results after just one application as my hands were no longer feeling sore. It is not my favourite hand cream, as it takes quite a bit of effort to apply but I still use it from time to time.

This hand formula is good for very dry skin, and those with hands that are prone to chapping will benefit from it the most. If your hands suffer then this cream will help to restore and maintain your hands. Not everyone will like this cream as it is quite thick and heavy. Also you need to have time to rub the cream in well. It is an effective hand cream, and is especially good to use during the winter months.

This hand cream is also suitable for males and females as it doesn't have a floral scent and it comes in a plain tube that is not too fancy.

I have found other creams that I prefer but still think this one is good for a cheaper alternative. I would recommend this cream if you have dry hands and you are on a tight budget as this will last you for a long time and it does work!

Summary: Good Cheap Alternative to smooth, soft hands.
