Advantages: Non-greasy and effective
Disadvantages: expensive
If like me you tend to get dry skin on your hands, then I'm sure that Neutrogena Hand Cream is the answer for you. In the past I have tried several different types of cream in the aim of reducing the amount of dry and flaking skin over my hands and, although other creams do the job of moisturising my hands adequately, none as well as this.
I am a big fan of E45 cream as can be seen from one of my other Dooyoo reviews I have written, but I find that, although it is very effective, it is quite greasy and wet, which is not ideal when you are applying it before doing tasks such as driving for example, or other stuff which requires non-slippery hands. This is where Neutrogena Hand Cream is different, its glycerin-enriched formula not only relieves the chapped and dry feeling from your hands, it is also a relatively dry and non-greasy cream which is absorbed into your skin very quickly.
It also amazed me how little cream is needed per application quoting the bottle "Just a dab needed" making the standard 50ml container last a long time, again according to the bottle "Concentrated for over 200 applications". The small 50ml bottle is small enough to take anywhere and it is also very handy for taking abroad on holiday due to the 100ml liquid restrictions on taking on board aircraft.
The price of this tends to be between 3 and 4 pounds, costing £3.27 from Tesco, which is at the expensive end of the market with other items costing a lot less like the Dove hand cream for example which costs around £2 for a similar amount, but in my own opinion, the extra cost is worth it as it is a fantastic hand cream.
Overall, this is a fantastic "hard-working hand cream for hard working hands" which provides effective and efficient relief from dry hand problems. I will continue to use this cream for the foreseeable future or until my dry hands persist, and would recommend this to anyone with similar skin issues. For my Dooyoo rating I will give it 4 stars out of 5, the only reason why it fails to get 5 stars it the cost, being one of the more expensive products available on the market even though it is worth the extra cost.
Definitely worth giving it a try!!!
Summary: a great buy
