covers spots AND clears them??!! (Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil Free Make Up)

Advantages: covers spots v.v. well, not oily , claims to clear spots too

Disadvantages: bit pricy, no difference in skin yet!

Unfortunatly for me I'm one of those poor people with yucky spotty oily skin :(

BUT when I saw this neutrogena skin clearing make up I thought my prayers had been answered!!
Could it be true? A make up that covers up your spotty bits and works on clearing them too?

There are 3 product available: liquid foundation, pressed powder ansd concealer.
I tried the liquid foundation and the powder.

When I tried the liquid foundation I found it does cover pretty well considering how light it feels on my skin.
Its not oily so you don't get that nasty shiny greasy look some foundations give you.
And it feels lovely and soft on my skin, and doesn't dry it out. It applys best with a sponge, it gets in a bit of a runny mess other wise!! And you only need a little bit at a time.
This works best on my skin when I'm having a less spotty day!

If however I'm having a bad day ( always when there's a party or some other event when I want to look nice! HUMPF!) I find I need to use the powder as well. This gives a slightly heavier coverage and a more matte finish. Again it's non oily and non drying.
You get a little sponge so its easy to apply.

If, like me, you get the occasional really red spot you need a concealer too, to cover it. I didn't try the neutrogena one, but if its as good as the rest I'd say NO ONE would belive you had a spot under there! once i get some more cash I'll buy it so I can give my opinion a bit better! (read my opinions!! earn me some money! its gfor your own good otherwise you may never know the truth of how good this product may or may not be!! HA HA HA!)

Both products give a natural finish, which I think is unusual fo a foundation designed for greasy skin.

It lasts really really well I barly need to touch it up at all during the day!


Its quite expensive, £7.99 for liquid (and its only a tiny little bottle) £8.99 for powd
er. But if you really want to hide those evil little spots I think its worth it!! In fact when I bought mine there was a 3 for 2 offer, and 200 extra boots points!

As for the clearing part I have not yet really noticed much difference. But it does say it happens gradually. So I'll let you know when im zit free!
