Advantages: sounded like a good idea...

Disadvantages: it just doesn't work for me.

I don't know how many of you have seen the advert for this product, but they really do make it sound like a gift from the gods!

My skin-type is one that can't really be given a name. It is always shiny, but not really greasy-feeling. I often have outbreaks, usually one or two large, angry-looking puss-filled specimens, and a couple of baby craters just starting. However, I also have dry patches - but not in any usual place, they just happen. I guess that comes from using the pill and living in London.

Anyway, this product claims to clear up spots whilst covering over them, and any large pores you may have.

Sorry girls! If you have skin like mine, it just won't work. The liquid itself is like a "cheap" foundation - you know, when you look at it on the back of your hand in the shop, and it's gone all clay-like. Once home, I tried it on my face, and oh-my-god! It looked like a combination of talk and double cream, almost separating like curdled milk on my face. Immediately, all across my forehead and cheeks, large dry, scaly patches appeared, and even exfoliating didn't get rid of them after immediate removal of the foundation!

The foundation itself was not sufficient enough to even vaguely hide small, red spots, of visible pores. I understand that there is a concealer available in the same line, but I am loathe to try it after me experience!

To give it a fair go, I did use the product for more than a week (in the safety of my own home), experimenting with initial exfoliation before application, then loads of priming moisturiser, but it really doesn't work.

Sorry. Try it if you want, it may suit your skin, but this was my experience.

Think I'll give it a miss too. I once had the problem of a foundation seperating into bits on my face, the woman in Boots told me it must be the moisturiser I was using under my foundation, funny that, as it was from the same range as the foundation and clearly said a good base for make-up. Anyway I argued my point and they took it back. In fact I've taken a couple of make-up items back to boots and they've happily exchanged them if you have a good reason.

It sounded so good in the ads, but the desciption of it on your face has put me off for life!
