Advantages: popular brand, beautiful models to sell, dries up acne

Disadvantages: not very blendable, dries face, eneven looking

I used to have problems with small breakouts on my forehead, and it seemed as if wearing foundation made them worse. Okay, I know all of you who have acne must know, you have to wear foundation to cover it up, but in turn, the foundation cause more acne!!! What a vicious cycle!!! Anyway, like anyone wanting to get rid of acne would do, I went to the store and tried to find a foundation that would not cause acne or make the pimples I already had worse. I had seen the advertisements on TV for this Nutrogena Skin Clearing foundation. You've seen it, all the beautiful girls who "wear the brand" advertising the makeup. Well, I guess Jennifer Love Hewitt must have some different skin than I do, because the Nutrogena Skin Clearing Makeup did not work for me!!! What do you have to do, mix it with lotion? The foundation began drying while I was blending it to my face which, when finished, made very uneven tones on my face. Finally, I learned to blend quicker!!! After I mastered the "skill" of applying it, I noticed that it made my face look extremely dry. Not to mention, the foudation was thicker in some places than in others. Now this was not the cause of me not applying and blending properly, because I am a real stickler about how my foundation looks. I like my face to look like I am not wearing any foundation at all. To sum it up for you, the foundation is good for getting rid of acne because I dries the heck out of them, but if you want a nice foundation that compliments your face and blends "effortlessly," then you will want to try something else. I guess most people just don't have Jennifer Love Hewitt's skin!!!
