Advantages: Long term effects, smells good, lasts

Disadvantages: Wide tin, only for hands

This is a great little product to carry around with you on the go for dry and sore hands.
It is in a very simple round tin in the classic Nivea blue, with just the name in bold white letters on it (spelt creme!). The tin is quite large (almost 10cm across, but is only just over 1 cm deep. - It is quite easy to put in a side packet of a bag.
The lid is fairly tight and although it should just pull off, I have found you sometimes need to twist it - good for not having it open in a bag.
The cream itself is quite thick and stodgy, more like a body butter than moisturiser. It is a very bright white (there must be some colouring in it).
The smell is a soapy frsh smell and maybe due to the consistency of the cream lasts for ages and ages.
You only need a small amount to cover the skin. It is very protective but does feel as though it is laying on the skin for a time - I wouldn't choose to use this on my face as I would feel like it was blocking pores. However for my hands the effects last ages. I find I only have to apply this about once a day and the effects last, making my hands feel softer.

Summary: Good thing to carry, especially to work for sore stressed hands!!!

Another trip for me down memory lane. I used to find it a bit too sticky, but then I used to plaster it on my hands thinking i would soak through the skin.
