**** Introduction ****

This time of year I always struggle to keep my lips moist and crack free, so I am always on the look out for a good product to protect my lips.

I usually opt for the vasaline tubs that lubricate my lips and prevent them from drying out, but I have recently found these to be very greasy and in the summer they start to melt in my bag, so on my last trip to town I was looking for a replacement.

While shopping in superdrug I came across this Nivea Lip care tube, so I picked up as it looked like it was worth a try.

**** The Nivea Lip Care ****

This Nivea lip care comes in a bright pink 12ml tube, it has an easy application nozzle to apply it directly to your lips without having to use your fingers.

The product itself is a lip care treatment that norishes and protects your lips, but the added bonus is the fact that it also adds a great shine to your lips, so for me I would class this as a lip balm and gloss combined.

The treatment is very similar to a lip gloss and has the same sticky consitancy that is deposited onto your lips to look like a lip stick and it also penetrates your lips and makes them feel hydrated and refreshed.

I bought the pink version which has pink twinkly specks in it, this then appears like you are wearing a tinted lip gloss and not a lip care product.

As i have said this has a slanted application nozzle and when the tube is gently squeezed the product is released from a small hold in the center of the nozzle, all you then need to do is apply it as you would a gloss.

This cost me 99p on offer and I have to say I am very impressed as it is a gloss and care treatment in one handy bottle.

**** My Views ****

I will certainly buy this product again as it seem to have all of the benefits that the vaseline tubs gave, plus is has a nice shimmer pink glaze to it so I am finding it ideal for everyday use.

The tube is very small and can easily be mis-placed but for the price I cannot really expect anything bigger.

I highly recommend this as it ticks many boxes for me and I am sure it will do the same for you.

Summary: recommended for everyday use.
