Advantages: Repairs sore chapped lips

Disadvantages: A tny bit more expensive than its rivals

Ever since I was a little boy I have always had chapped lips - thankfully not as bad now as they were when I was younger, and I credit that to using good lip balm! I had recently run out of my last nivea lip balm (the dark blue essentials one) and had to rush out to get a reploacement as I kept running my tongue over my lips thinking that I was keeping them moist! How wrong was I, it is bad as saliva drys out your lips even more!

I picked up this nivea repairing lip balm, as it was a little bit more expensive (£2.50 at sainsbury's) but my lips were so sore at the time I thought I would splurge! It had been so windy that my lips were sore, but once i had used this lip balm a few times, my lips felt much better and back to normal.

There are a lot of lip balms to choose from and there are others that I do like - Carmex is good, as is blisteze, but this is the best! The 'taste' from it is minimal, hardly notice it, whereas I do not like Blisteze taste. This lip balm has the added bonus of being in a stick form, rather than a little tube, this is much handier.

As mentioned I have used the 'Essential' nivea lip balm before, but I just find this 'Repair' to be better, it feels nicere on your lips, as if it is creamier.

I would definitely recommend it to those of you who suffer from chapped lips in the winter time and those who want nice shiny lips all year round! Definitely worth the little bit extra and £2.50 is a good pirce to pay for being able to have non sore lips!
