Advantages: Cooling effect, heals lips fast
Disadvantages: None
Now we're coming out of the winter season I thought that I would review the product which has been keeping my lips from being dry, sore and chapped.
I found this product in Superdrug after searching the shelves for something that would make my lips heal and stop being so sore, I picked up a few things however it was the nivea one which caught my eye. I settled on nivea due to the fact it is a well known brand which is known for protecting and moisturising skin exactly what my lips needed at that very moment!
It has a aqua blue lid which covers the whole product apart from the very base. The nivea logo is clear to see at the very top and the lettering underneath is white (which can be a bit difficult to read) The lid pulls off nice and easy however its secure enough that it wont just fall off in your bag. You simply turn the bottom the way you would a lipstick to get the chap stick to move up and down as desired.
The actual chapstick itself is a creamy/white colour and has a vry creamy smell to it, it actually reminded me of moisturiser. As I applied it I found it went on nice and smooth and actually had a cooling effect on them.
After a few days use I found my lips were a lot smoother and were no longer dry or sore. Fast foreward a few weeks and my lips were completley healed, however I have continued using it in order to stop the chappiness coming back and it seems to have prevented this.
This is an ideal product for those who like me suffer with chapped lips when the cold weather comes.
Summary: Brilliant
