No 7 Extreme Length Mascara

Mascara is the one item of make-up that I couldn't give up. I don't wear it everyday, but it's normally the bear minimum of make-up that I do put on. And so, I'm looking for the perfect mascara. The mascara that gives me long, fluttering eyelashes that don't clump, but separate beautifully and help bring out my eyes. I haven't given up and take a genuine interest in every new mascara that comes onto the market. Wands, combs, undercoats, overcoats, you name it - I've probably tried it. My usual mascara is roughly £6 in Boots, as well as other stores so when I bagged myself a £5 off No7 voucher to use in Boots I decided to try their new mascara which had a hefty price tag of over £11!!! I love No7 products anyway but I find them so expensive therefore not something I buy on a regular basis. This mascara comes in a curiously curved bronze tube, very sleek and elegant looking. If you have read many of my reviews you will probably know that I love No 7 products. I have tried almost all of their mascaras, most of them are great but a couple are terrible (Boots, if you are reading, Lash 360 is awful - get rid!), it is a close call but my favourite seems to be Intense Volume. I was quite put off buying this mascara by the fact that it has one of those wands that are made out of small plastic spikes. I really don't like these kinds of wands as I don't think that they are very effective at separating lashes. No 7 Extreme Length Mascara is fairly new out and not long after it came out I was intrested in the product, but when I saw the price I thought I would just stick with the masacara I was using. About a week or so later I poped into my local Boots store and spent over £5 which ment I got a free £5 No 7 voucher. After spending yet another small fortune on No 7 products I received a trial size of this mascara in a free gift pack. The packaging of this mascara is very simple and typical of No 7, except that the tube is a bronze-gold and the writing is black, making it easier to spot in a make up bag compared to the other No 7 products. It claims to 'grip and extend each lash for maximum length and eye opening definition.' The first thing I noticed when I opened the mascara was the brush, because it wasn't a brush.
