A friend of mine gave me a carrier bag full of make up last week so expect tonnes of makeup reviews from me! In the bag was quite a few different mascaras which was a good thing because mine had just ran out and I hate paying for make up hence the reason why I only have four or five products in my make up bag. This is the mascara that I tried first because it stood out from the rest in it's golden tube. Instead of being circular in shape it almost looks like a squashed circle although if you view it from the front then it reminds me of a woman's hour-glass figure.

When I first unscrewed the lid I was quite surprised to be met with a garish, neon green brush. To me it just didn't suit the classy golden outer although I was intrigued when I pulled the whole brush out because the end was very interesting. Instead of being a black brush that was stiff and caked in black mascara, the brush appeared to be rather flexible almost to the point where it feels like it's going to detach and fall off. The bristles are absolutely tiny and they don't extend out hardly at all.

I have to say that I'm really impressed with how the mascara applies to my eyelashes. Because the brush is so intricate, it coats every lash finely with a small amount of mascara and I'm not left with clogs everywhere. I'm also left with a very natural look which is good for me as I don't wear a lot of make up so the dramatic look wouldn't look right.

I wouldn't say that my eyelashes extend any more than they do with my usual mascara so if you are looking for super long lashes then you might do well to avoid this.

The one thing that I don't like about this product is the fact that it isn't waterproof. I'm out in all weathers and I'm one of those people that forget that they are wearing makeup and rub my eyes all the time so I was left with streaks across my face. I only tend to use this if I'm definitely sure it won't rain or if I'm going out.

All in all this is a lovely mascara that works well but I wouldn't wear it if you are about to get wet.
