Advantages: erm.....use to be really good

Disadvantages: Short, stubby and thin brush making it difficult to apply

When No7 Extreme Length Mascara was first launched, the advert with Keely Hawes was regularly shown on tv, as well as being advertised in magazines. I'd seen the effects that it had on a girl I used to with. she already had long eye lashes but this No7 Mascara gave them more definition. When I first saw how much of the Mascara I nearly choked. £12! It's only No7! Maybelline is a lot cheaper, and more of a well-known brand! However I brought it anyway and was impressed. My eyelashes are long (not as long as some and why do men have long eyeslashes. WHY? It's not fair!), but No7 Extreme Mascara made them stand out even more. The brush which is green was long and curved, making it easier to apply. No7 Extreme Length Mascara was one of the best mascaras i'd ever owned.

This year I was given No7 Extreme Length Mascara as a birthday present and of course was expecting it to be just the same as it was originally. Nuh-uh. They'd changed the brush it is still green, but is short and completely straight. Now it's a lot hard to apply (and not as comfortable to hold), and does not make my lashes as extreme as it once did. Also how are you suppose make use of the mascara and get your money's worth if the brush can't even reach the bottom of the tube!

No7 comes in a 7ml gold tube and promises to give intense lashes with extreme definition. You start off using the brush at the roots and then move the brush in a zig-zag motion up to the tips of the eyelashes. Unlike other mascara the brush is quite thin and stubby, make it difficult to use. I have found a mascara which came free with a magazine a lot better and it only cost £2. A magazine AND a mascara for £2...Bonus!

I still have my No7 Extreme Length Mascara and will try to get to the bottom of it!

Summary: A good mascara...shame about the brush
