NO! (No7 Dream Lash Mascara)

Advantages: none for me

Disadvantages: skinny, fiddly, scratchy brush. irritated my eye area.

My eyelashes have depleted somewhat over the years & it doesn't help having light auburn hair so mascara is an absolute must for me - I wouldn't open our front door without it at the risk of scaring anyone!

I must have tried dozens of different sorts of mascaras & have had varying results but I have to say this No7 Dream Lash is the absolute worst I've ever used & I would definitely not recommend it.

I've always been pleased with Boots No 7 products so when I saw the attractive packaging & good price tag I thought I'd got a pretty good deal. However it was binned after 2 attempts at using it.

The version I bought looks slightly different to the one pictured as it's 4.5g (cost £4) & has a black, not silver top which makes it look like many others. The shade is stamped on the bottom & the Dream Lash lettering & logo are printed in silver. From top of lid to the end of the brush is around 8cm & the brush is only 2cm long which makes it very small in comparison to others.

The brush itself looks quite skinny & when I first applied it to my eyelashes it seemed quite scratchy & it was hard to cover all the lashes. I kept having to put the brush back into the conatiner hoping that I'd get better coverage on the brush but it had no effect. There actually seems to be very little accessible mascara in this tube at all.

My lashes were eventually covered but rather than the 1 or 2 coats I usaully need I found the same effect was after 4 or 5 caots of Dream Lash. My lashes seemed to clump together & it wasn't long before my eyes quite dry & uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to remove all trace of this awful product but thought I'd give it another go a few days later but the same problems occurred.

I hate throwing anything away but this was binned I'm afraid & I wouldn't recommend Dream Lash although I've found other No7 mascaras to be very good.
