Advantages: It only contains 10ml
Disadvantages: I want to wear gloves in a heatwave
I am normally a fan of No.7 products and so when looking for a quick drying polish for day to day use, I went straight to the No.7 display and perused the Speed Dry colour choices.
But I will not be going back for a second purchase. The polish goes on easily and it does dry speedily, but that is all pointless if the finished look isn't as good as other polishes. I admit that I do not buff my nails, but as that does not prevent other nail polishes from having a very sleek finish, then I see no reason why any polish shouldn't look as good. But I am afraid it doesn't in this case. It does not appear, nor feel smooth. And even if I hold my hands at arms length and don't put my glasses on, the finish looks very poor.
I am sorry, but at over £6 I expect better. Or maybe it is just that I have got used to a better appearance from other nail polishes and consequently this looks as if I have a very unprofessional finish. It isn't a good buy if I can get a look 6 times as good from a polish at less than half the price.
I only put my current application on about 36 hours ago and already the tips of half my fingernails are worn away - not a great look.
It is just about ok if I m only going out shopping so at that price it will be used until it comes to it's natural end, but it has put me off buying No.7 nail polish in the future.
I am normally proud of how good my nails look, but not with this polish on- my nails are not being flamboyantly displayed, my nails are now modest and reclusive.
Summary: This polish did not attend finishing school
