Advantages: everything

Disadvantages: nothing

As mentioned in my last review I bought a Stay perfect nail varnish with one of my £5 off No7 vouchers.

Stay Perfect
---------------------
The 'Stay Perfect' range of products seem to make up a mini range within the larger No7 range of make-up.

These products include foundation, eye-shadow, eye-liner, mascara, lipstick, face powder, blusher and of course this product- the nail varnish.

Stay Perfect Nail colour
------------------------------------
This is available in tonnes of shades ranging from pale pink to vampy black, each has a lovely name to fit in with the colour.

The website currently shows only the colours that are new for this Spring/Summer season and these are-
Spun Sugar: A metallic gold shade.
Damson Dream: A dark purple.
Vivid Violet: A brighter purple.
Pillar Box: A bright red.
Sugar Syrup: A peachy pale pink.
Twinkle: Palest pink with silver glitter
and the shade I bought: Betty Blues.

When I was looking at the No7 stands trying to choose my products I saw these seven shades of nail colour were on there own stand as they were the new colours, these were instantly the ones I was interested in as I had looked at the other colours numerous times and already bought the best of the bunch.

The 'Betty Blues' shade stood out to me as it was really dark, a change among the usual Spring colours. Plus I always wear dark nail colours as I think they suit my pale skin best.
As (bad) luck would have it the only bottle left of Betty Blues was the tester, I didn't want to settle for second best though and decided to wait until they got some in stock, calling in every day until a week later there they were :) A line of dark blue nail varnishes!

Betty Blues
----------------------
In the bottle it looks very dark almost black, in the right light you can see that its actually a very rich shade of navy blue. It also has tiny bits of sparkle which reflect in the light but not enough to make it glittery thank god!

It comes in the usual sleek No7 packaging, a clear glass bottle with black lid. On the lid it says No7 in gold writing and on the bottle it simply says 'Stay Perfect nail colour'.

Applying the nail varnish is easy, the lid is a decent size so easy to grip between your fingers while you paint your nails. No7 nail varnish brushes are slightly bigger than usual ones and you can cover your nail in two strokes.
Sometimes with dark colours you need to apply a few coats so it doesn't look streaky but one coat of this covered my nail completely and left a perfect finish. The colour once on your nails is very similar to the colour in the bottle, no nasty surprises.

Now will it stay perfect as promised?
The claim on the website is "No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colours, for beautiful glossy colour that stays perfect for upto five days"

I applied this nail varnish 3 days ago and the tips of my nails are just starting to chip, I've been to work in between though unpacking boxes and using my fingers so I think thats pretty impressive.
Nail varnish never seems to want to stay on my nails and usually chips before the first day is over so for me this is nothing short of a miracle lol!

I'm impressed with the staying power of this and love the colour too, I can't fault anything.

The full price is £6.10 but I paid just £1.10! Bargain!

Summary: I love Betty Blues!
